Hoardblemish reiterated, "but it is VERY good to see you again, Mr. Young. I hope you are pleased by what we have done with your generous donation.”

“I’m sure you have done me proud," I reassured, "but about the potential student-"

“Let me give you the GRAND TOUR!” Hoardblemish declared enthusiastically.

He then led us on a thrilling tour of the nearby study area! We saw students studiously reading! Taking notes! Young students were learning elementary Gramarye, from a .. bush wearing a scholar's mortarboard?? An advanced student was running away from an armchair he had animated!

"He hasn't gotten it quite right yet," Xavier explained with a shrug.

“I'm gonna hugya and squeezya and petya and petya and I will name you GEORGE!” the chair declared in a loud and disturbing voice as it clattered around after its hapless creator.

“I learned the hard way to never let objects speak,” Rebecca muttered. “Are my girls still enrolled here?”

“You have a very nice set up," I interrupted before we could get sidetracked any further than we already were. "But I have an urgent matter to discuss with you. I also wish to speak about the troubles in Euro-"

“Let’s continue!” Hoardblemish said excitedly as he scurried across the study chamber.

In a practice room (which I believe was once one of Sartoruis' Floozieball courts) we watched two groups of advanced students lobbing magic missiles at each other.

"Learnin how to fight with knives an pointy sticks'd be better trainin," Burnside remarked with a contemptuous snort.

Rebecca, on the other hand, was absolutely enthralled by the demonstration. “My Lord, will you teach me that next?” she beseeched.

“Destruction magick is a fickle and dangerous art," I informed her. "Let’s work gradually up to it. We’ll continue your training when we get some spare time; don't let me forget. And now, Headmaster Hoardblemish, I really must insist that we discuss-”

“If you’re impressed by our offense and counteroffense department, wait until you see what’s next!” Xavier gloated as he led us onward down a vaulted passageway. We emerged in what appeared to be a student commons.

A student who happened to be a rabbit spotted Rebecca looking soaked. He dashed up and used a quick Gramarye to dry her clothes, then politely accepted her thanks.

A goat student similarly offered to help Ms. Thomson. Thomson consulted briefly with Mr. Calaveras, then nodded and thanked the Student Who Was a Goat for his kindness.

A raccoon student approached Burnside, but after a single glare from my Imperial Bodyguard, the raccoon student decided he needed to be somewhere else.

“I regret that I cannot interrupt lectures to show you the classrooms," Hoardblemish explained, "so - for now - that concludes the tour of the facilities.”

“Yes. Thank you," I nodded. "Now can we please discuss the potential student I wish to enroll and the situation in Euro-”

“OH! But where are my manners?" Hoardblemish blurted suddenly. "I am a terrible host! You and your companions are wet, tired, and dirty. Let me take you all to the staff lavatory so you may bathe and freshen up!”

Before I could object again, Xavier had led us to a large washroom and discreetly left us there, closing the door behind him.

“Shall we all bathe together, my lord?” Rebecca asked, with an unusual gleam in her eye.

“I only bathe in the blood o my enemies," Burnside declared. "Other'n that, once a month.”

“Mr. Calavaras will settle for nothing less than the finest bathing salts,” Thomson murmured as she looked the place over with a critical eye.

“There appear to be enough stalls for everyone," I stated after a quick glance around. "No, we are not bathing together!”

bathing seperately? adler youre no fun !! though if Burnside only bathes monthly she probably smells worse then any skunk

"We are not bathing together!" Wakes up in a Roman style bath, wearing Mr Calavaras on his head and cuddled by three very satisfied floozies.

Walter Reimer

Like many Antgladers, Burnside bathes once a month - whether she needs it or not.

Vet

The stalls are probably just for holding your clothing. It's a large tub for everyone.

Discover that there are copious supplies of SPHINX-O, the wonder cleanser that not only leaves your clothes smelling fresh, but gives your fur that 99-licks-with-a-brush shine! Also find that there's a magick machine that leaves all of the clothes looking superb. Of course, it would be nice if the machine had delivered the right clothes to the right fur. Burnside seems to have, in her struggles, triggered the "extra fluff" setting on the dryer, and comes out looking like a round ball of anthropicide.

Decadent Arsenic

Xavier appears to either be way too excited or he's absolutel hiding something.

tegerio

Have Burnside and Rebecca been promoted to Floozy, or are these completely different characters?

tegerio

Everyone knows the classic Riddle of SPHINX-O: What polishes four table legs in the morning, cleans two loads of laundry at noon, and gives triple the value of other brands in the evening?

REAL neat-freaks prefer Foxaroo Brand Detergent!

Roo_CatUK

Oh! I meant Thomson, Rebecca, Burnside. I thought Burneside was sort of a bodyguard floozy.

In a world-wide survey, one out of one International Bearded Indefinites preferred SPHINX-O. So there.

(Roo) >"We are not bathing together!" Wakes up in a Roman style bath, wearing Mr Calavaras on his head and cuddled by three very satisfied floozies. (Rick) >bathing seperately? adler youre no fun !! >Rebecca: “But, my lord, this is the famous summer vacation palace, is it not? We should indulge just a little. Imagine setting this place up like a Roman bath.” >Burnside: “You can wear Thomson’s skull pet on your head to make things interesting.” >Thomson: “Mr. Calaveras is always up for trying new things.” You say as you are putting all of the most expensive toiletries in a pile. >Adler: While you are a devout mephatist this is an impracticable location, and the way they are asking is seriously irritating. “This is the shared professional bathroom of the staff at this SCHOOL. A school that is no longer a vacation palace. It would not do to have the staff walk in on us and then spread rumors.” >Burnside: “Don’t they teach ‘body magick here’?” >Adler: “I’ve read the brochure! The body magick is a side curiosity here at best and the scoffing from the other faculty shows they are skeptical. We’re also on a mission and can afford no distractions! Also, your combined mewling is VERY irritating and not setting a good mood.” (Vet) >The stalls are probably just for holding your clothing. It's a large tub for everyone. >Rebecca: “We may have to bathe together as a practical matter. There’s a big tub in the center of the room, and these stalls might just be for clothing.” >Burnside: “WELL THAT SETTLES IT! Group bathing it is! Do they have any blood based oils? I want this to feel special.” >Thomson: “Will machine oil work?” (Eric) >Discover that there are copious supplies of SPHINX-O, the wonder cleanser that not only leaves your clothes smelling fresh, but gives your fur that 99-licks-with-a-brush shine! Burnside seems to have, in her struggles, triggered the "extra fluff" setting on the dryer, and comes out looking like a round ball of anthropicide. >Adler: “You mean that steaming tub filled with dirty clothes that is quite clearly meant for laundry? Seriously, all of you get your heads on straight. It’s this very same venery addicted attitude that made our society into a decadent mess that helped send it straight into the toilet. We have more important things to worry about. Fuma forbid a group of adults should be able to go a few days without carnal pleasure.” >Burnside: “But-” >Adler: “One more word out of you, and I will put a geas on you that prevents you from feeling pleasure for the next fifty years.” >There is a collective “eep” from all the moronically twitterpated femes and they clam up. >Adler: Time passes and you are all in closed stalls showering. All four stalls are right next to each other as a compromise. Despite your desire to bathe in peace, there is chatter between everyone as you individually shower. >Rebecca: “So, what is the plan, my lord?” *Your ears keep getting tanled up in the shower head.* “UGH! This is why I prefer showering in the rain. It’s witchy AND no one makes showers with rabbits in mind.” >Adler: “They had shower caps in a basket by the door. Anyway, I will have a meeting with Xavier about enrolling Kelly here and I will inquire about the *ahem* item Thomson mentioned.” >Burnside: “It sounds naughty when you say it like that.” *You say while peeking under the separating stall wall into Adler’s stall. You already had your montly bath, so you are just standing in there getting wet and wasting water.* >Adler: “Burnside, I swear, if you peek under that wall one more time I WILL kick you!” >Burnside: *You impishly giggle as you duck back into your stall.* “It’s not my fault these walls are so high above the ground.” >Adler: “Anyway, while I am doing that, the three of you will mingle among the students and staff to gather intel on you-know-who to see if she’s mellowed out enough to be trusted with the safety of, uh, the-other-you-know-who.” >There are massive amounts of suds and bubbles billowing out of Thomsons stall. >Adler: “Thomson, I don’t think the school will appreciate you using ALL of their most expensive soaps and oils in one sitting.” >Thomson: “Mr. Calaveras wanted to try one of everything.” >Rebecca: “Will Thomson be able to mingle without making a scene?” >Adler: “Judging by all the eccentirc characters we’ve seen here, I’m sure she’ll fit right in.” (Decadent) >Xavier appears to either be way too excited or he's absolutel hiding something. >Burnside: “You wanna talk about characters? What about that Xavier guy? He seemed way to interested in keeping us distracted. He might be planning something. That’s why I, as your imperial bodyguard, should be present for your meeting to guard-” >Adler: “The imperial body. Yes. Are you trying to make that your new catchphrase?” >Burnside: “Yes.” You say matter-of-factly. >Adler: “Well… Anyway, I doubt he is planning anything untoward. He struck me more like an excitable child showing off a new model he put together. I’d wager he takes everyone through that tour of his. Besides, You-know-who poses far more of a danger than Xavier. That is why you should be gathering intel on her and spying on her.” >Rebecca: “Wait, are you talking about ‘you-know-who” or “the-other-you-know-who”? >Adler: “Zandar. I want you to spy on Zandar. I was trying to use code words because we are in a public place.” You sigh in irritation. >Burnside: “Public? We’re in a bathroom.” >Adler: “A SHARED bathroom. It is semi-public. Please, we are supposed to be professionals.” >There is a long awkward pause. >Rebecca: “Burnside, I’m out of shampoo. The special kind for silky black hair. Can you roll me over yours?” >Burnside: “Thomson took all of it.” >Adler: “What would she even need it for? That skull has no hair.” >Thomson: “Actually, that was for me. It’s been too long since my Floozy hair has been pampered.” >Rebecca: “All of it, though?” >Thomson: “I’m catching up on 200 years of lost time.”
