-Short Story-

It was just past eight on a Saturday night, and the excitement buzzed through me as I rummaged through my closet, desperately searching for the perfect outfit for the club.

I pulled out a pink one-piece with a skirt, its shimmering fabric catching the light, but as I looked into the mirror, I felt it was something I would wear for a beach party. Then I decided to try a white tank top and a short grey skirt that did not work either.

Maybe something more understated? I reached for a sleek sequined top with a pink skirt instead, but the moment I tried it on, I felt it cling uncomfortably in all the wrong places.

After what felt like an eternity of tossing clothes on and off, I finally landed on a set which I threw on a short mini skirt, a short micro shirt, and a slutty stylish black trench coat.

Satisfied at last, I threw on my favorite heels, completed the look with bold red lips, and made a mental note to add some hoop earrings.

With a quick check in the mirror, I felt confident and ready to steal the night. I grabbed my purse, double-checked for my phone and keys, and then stepped out of the door, excitement bubbling in my chest.
