The beach was packed when I arrived, the sun blazing overhead. I spotted Mia and Mika, the twins, lounging on their towels, soaking up the rays. They were polar opposites in every way—Mia, shy and uncomfortable in her surgically-enhanced, bleached-blonde body, and Mika, confident but overlooked for her natural, understated looks.“Mika,” Mia was saying, tugging at the straps of her bikini, “I just wish I could go back to how I was before all this. It’s too much. I can’t even walk down the street without someone staring.”Mika rolled her eyes, propping herself up on her elbows. “Are you serious? I’d take your body any day, Mia. I’d have so much fun with it.”I couldn’t help but smirk as their bickering continued. It was the same argument every time we hung out. Mia hated the attention her body brought, while Mika craved it.That’s when the idea hit me.“Alright, ladies,” I said, plopping down between them. “Sounds like you both need a little perspective.”They turned to me, confused, but before they could protest, I let my magic flow. Mika, on the other hand, grew taller, her body transforming into Mia’s exaggerated hourglass figure, complete with the giant fake breasts and also keeping her blonde hair.They stared at each other in shock, eyes wide, then turned to me.“Kira… really?” Mia said, her voice higher-pitched and softer than usual.Mika looked down at her new body, her hands hovering over her chest. “What the—? She stood up, striking a pose in her new, curvy figure. “Oh, I’m definitely enjoying this. Watch this!”She strutted down the sand, turning heads left and right. Mia watched, her shyness still intact, but there was a hint of a smile on her face.“She’s going to get herself into trouble,” Mia said, shaking her head.I laughed. “Probably. But maybe now you’ll both see things from each other’s perspective.”Mia looked at me, her expression softening. “Yeah, maybe. But, Kira… how long does this last?”I winked. “As long as you need it to.”We spent the rest of the afternoon watching Mika enjoy her new body, while Mia relaxed, finally free from the constant attention. By the end of the day, they were both laughing, swapping stories about their experiences.
