(An apology post for yall due to my inability as of late to write. The good news is it isn't because of stress or depression or writer's block like usual. Real life just tends to get in the way. The bad news is that I have been fighting a stomach Ulcer, brought on by stress, off and on. Also it's our busiest time at where I work so it's been a madhouse coordinating sales, shows, and events.I will return to writing as soon as I can manage and rest assured it will be of my usual quality. For now I submit this adorable picture with some context)On a visit to Lykopis' orc-dominated kingdom of Rende in their attempt to find a way to make their complicated relationship work, Oborro is nonetheless subjected to a fair bit of suspicion and scorn for what / who he is. To the Orcs of Rende, he is still an outsider, given leeway by their queen.This can lead to some intense/aggressive confrontations, and the resulting bludgeoning the Mad Queen implements to protect her little Bard, as well as remind her followers who is in charge. That's about how Orc government works. Orcs heal quickly after all, and they are all diehard loyal to their Queen. They just need a little physical reminder every once and a while.What no one expected was how hot Oborro would find said Orcish beatdown/public display of affection. Even if it wasnt entirely for his benefit, Oborro to this point has never had someone vouch for him so vehemently, stick up for him, let alone desire him so much as to pick fights with people for even looking at him funny. If he wasnt already head over heels for her, he would be falling for her all over again. And honestly? Can't blame him.
