Another Extended Pause Update of Billing for the month of May 😢 (Patreon)

Hello once again everyone!
I know that some of you have been looking forward for a long time for the Part 2 of the Chloe animation to be released but I just could not be able to focus on working on it because of so much work and stress these past few months.
Unfortunately, I will once again have to pause the billing for the next month (May).
Hopefully by then, I'll be able to finally release the animation and continue on working on the next ones without having to delay anything again... 😢

Again, I'm sorry for taking so long to finish it and thank you as always for your understanding and those who still continue to support even though I haven't been active for a while here! 😔😔😔

Take all the necessary time you need, take a break even. I wouldn't want you to suffer from burnout.

Its ok go what you need to do, to be honest im really looking forward on it, but it is what it is. Just take your time and take a good rest. Once in a while your body needs that. I really love your content even as minimum supporter. I can give this much as i can. Goodluck there irl stay safe just fight and dont give up

I'm learning music production, but I feel like I may never truly understand how difficult things are for content creators. Hard to tell this whole thing, I guess. Like full-time Youtubers you also got lot to deal with -- all the complicated things in life, while still trying to stay focused enough to make good work. Creative ideas somehow can dry up easily, even if you have the original manga as a reference. Must be hard that you still need to reshape and adapt everything significantly to make it suitable for animation. Your life and your health come first. Take your time — I’ll keep supporting you.

I wanted to ask off-topic why you don't have a gift membership, I wanted to buy a subscription for a friend, and I want to know why it's not available. The important thing is not to give up, but to keep going.

Oh, that is because my subscription/billing method is "First-of-month" billing and not Subscription billing and unfortunately (and this has been a problem for some creators for a while now) Patreon is deciding on removing all other billing method and set "Subscription Billing" as the only billing method by November this year (I think it's due to the IOS/Apple's meddling). Due to this, they removed all of the website's benefits (like being able to have Gift Memberships) on creators who still has "First-of-month" billing as their preferred billing method. I personally don't like what they are doing so I'm not changing the billing method yet (this is because my posting schedule does not align with Subscription because I usually finish and release my animations every start of the month), but when November comes, every Patreon creators will be forced to switch to "Subscription Billing" so when that comes, I think I will be able to make settings for Gift Memberships (which should have been accessible to every creator/user by default in the first place in my opinion). I've already made a post regarding this so if you have time, then you can read this: https://x.com/RemRinKT/status/1823167608260378849 (If you don't have time to read that post then here's a TL:DR: Apple/IOS forced Patreon to remove all billing methods and make only "Subscription Billing" as the only method and if not then they'll remove Patreon from the IOS/Apple app so Patreon is "forced" to make this change. This change also affects Patreon members/patrons who use IOS since they'll have to pay 30% more when applying for Patreon memberships using IOS, but creators do have a setting where that 30% will be deducted on their earnings and not the patrons instead which I already set to because I think that this is so unfair on both sides and only a greedy company like Apple wins on this change. Many creators are against this change but we can't do anything about it and just have to accept it once November comes. So we can only encourage people to not use the IOS/Apple app when making a Patreon subscription to avoid this ridiculous, additional 30% charge which only goes to Apple's greedy pockets (and yes, this is ADDED to Patreon's already existing charges).
