Since all of the creators are required to switch to Subscription billing before November 1, 2026 (mostly because of Apple forcing Patreon to make this change), I'll be switching the billing method from "First Day Billing" into "Subscription Billing".
What this means is:
- Patreon members are charged on the day they join the membership/subscribe (Free Tier is not included in this obviously), and then monthly on that same date. For example, if you subscribed on October 26, 2026, then you're next charge would be on November 26, 2026 instead of the 1st of November (if you haven't cancelled your subscription before then). However, previous/already existing members who are actively subscribed before this billing switch are still charged on the 1st of each month (unless they decided to cancel in which when they decided to return and subscribe on a much later date, Subscription Billing would be applied then).
- This way, my uploading schedule would also be changed, instead of uploading a full animation (and other files/content like motion data and such) at the start or 1st of every month, I can upload it without a specific fixed date, but still make sure to still upload it once a month because I always make sure to upload a finished work every month (unless it is delayed by another month in which I would make an early announcement and appropriate pause of billing for that).

Thank you for taking the time to read and for understanding (I don't know if I explained all of these properly since English is not my first language 😓).

There are 2 types of billing before. "First of the month" billing in which, as the name implies, the charges happen every 1st of the month and "Subscription billing" which charges the same date every month that the person subscribed. Apple forced Patreon to use only "Subscription billing" or else they'll remove the Patreon app in their appstore.
