SPOILER - Second storyboard of the next update [Delicious Travelings 0.5] (Patreon)

Hello, today I've been working on the direct continuation of the events that took place in the latest Delicious Travelings update.

It's time, and Lieutenant Varak arrives in the village to collect the tax. Marianne gives him the purse of coins, but it's not enough for him, and Varak isn't in the mood to negotiate. He violently punches Marianne in the face.

Marianne falls to the ground. Amid Varak's laughter and contempt, Paul can't help but intervene. He delivers a powerful punch straight to Varak's face, sending him sprawling to the ground, completely stunned. Paul warns him never to set foot in that village again, or things will get very ugly. Varak decides to leave, threatening the group that they should never have messed with him.

Marianne is relieved and warmly thanks Paul and the group for their help. The moment of joy is short-lived, however, as Varak has angered the forest slimes, which are now heading straight for the village.

A cloud of slimes sweeps over the village and attacks all the helpless inhabitants. Findis, ready for a fight, draws her greatsword to reduce the creatures to pulp.

Hungry Rea pulls out an apple to prepare for battle, but a slime rushes to eat it. The slime seems to be digesting and is calm. Findis pounces on the slimes with almost frightening glee. She swattes them away, but it doesn't stop them, there are too many, and she struggles to contain them.

A slime lunges at Rea, and Findis steps in to help. She holds off the slimes, but she's getting tired. Paul, seeing that the slimes are becoming increasingly aggressive, suggests that Marianne bring back some food to calm the creatures. Findis proposes creating a diversion by luring the slimes towards her, tearing and absorbing her clothes in the process. In a flash, tentacles erupt and restrain Findis. The mass of slime becomes uncontrollable and attacks all the members of the group.

A group of slimes clumps together into a misshapen mass, from which a human silhouette seems to emerge. This slime lunges at Paul at full speed, intent on absorbing him.

Paul struggles, but it's useless; she's suffocating him. The village is on the verge of collapse under the slimes. Just then, a cart piled high with apples and vegetables arrives in the square. It doesn't take long for the slimes to rush towards this mountain of food, freeing everyone from their restraints. The creature and the slimes devour all the food and finally fall asleep to begin a thorough digestion.

Here are the events of version 0.5. I don't plan to introduce many choices, and the narration will be quite brief since it's primarily about combat. It will take me a considerable amount of time to create each illustration.
