This Abnormality demands that those who visit him undertake a “trial” of his own design.

The challenger is fitted with a special set of restraints and must endure the powerful magical energy flowing through them.

Those who withstand the trial are rewarded with a powerful E.G.O Gift befitting their endurance.

—However, no one who has undertaken the trial has ever returned unharmed.

Upon completing the trial, the challenger is never released from the restraints. Their body gradually hardens in place until, still bound in the same position, they are transformed into a “doll.”

Even then, the Count does not consider them failures.

To him, this is simply another “reward” bestowed upon those who endured his trial to the very end.
