Yeah Sanemi has a huge Fanbase that Comes after you if you criticise him, i'm not that fond of him either but i can't say why because of spoiler! It was First Form "Godspeed" version that Zenitsu could only do twice, and that was in the Entertainment District Arc, since then he trained way more so he could maybe do it now more than twice, but now he has also the 7th Form. Nezuko and Tamayo are not connected to Muzan anymore otherwise Muzan would have known anytime where they are and see what they see, Nezuko already broke the connection in Episode 1 and her blood was mutating, and Tamayo(would be a Spoiler), and Yushiro was never tied to Muzan's cellular curse since it was the already disconected Tamayo who made Yushiro into a Demon with her own specialized medical concoctions and blood, so Nezuko and Yushiro wouldn't die if they kill Muzan.

Its just a popular fan theory actually, we know that some demons remember their past lifes. The trauma can be a factor that makes them forget the memories too
