Well… in my curious wanderings thru the back hallways and dusty hidden stairwells of the library (coz librarians gotta librate) I was drawn to this behemoth of a post for unknown reasons. I saw it on the shelf and pounced. It took my mind of some dreaded worry I have about a friend tonight, so thank you for that. There’s so much I wanted to comment on, but now I can’t remember most of it!!! - Hmmmm first …those fucking turkeys. I hope you make one of their number pay for your trauma in blood and eat it’s flesh at least once a year, in front of your family and community, to proclaim to the gods that you have triumphed over them (the turkeys, not the gods) and their bullshit. - Then, I was playing a video game and idly listening to talk of movies I’ve never seen or TV I’ve never watched, just like I had a friend over to spend time with, suddenly out of nowhere we were talking about panties and all the lovely things to be done while they are still ON … in a MMCT! Scandalous! and I found myself both squirming and blushing furiously. You naughty naughty man. That was a stealth attack. I’m not complaining but damn i was not prepared. - Then, I was listening to you sing this lovely, melancholy Christmas song I’ve never heard, almost in some minor key, and it was so utterly sweet and lovely. - So many other things I could say, but if anyone *cough cough* is paying attention to my rambles, to what catches my eye, they might notice that I love these MMCTs the best. I have my reasons, maybe I’ll share another time.

PS. Yes The Shining is scary but to me the scariest book of the oevre is and always will be Salems Lot. Every time the kid is walking down the upstairs hall, and going to open that bedroom door, and I know what’s lying in there… I can scream right now thinking of it.
