I decided it was time to replace my aged brush collection and, after shopping around for while, settled on this as the best mid-range set with everything I could need.

Check out the first half of a review, with part two coming once I've given them a proper test-run!

Precinct Omega Reviews... Army Painter Mega Brush Set (part 1)

Obviously, a proper review of a brush set requires someone to actually use them for a while, so in this video I look at the contents of the box, review the brushes, compare them to my existing (elderly) set and give some preliminary thoughts. In part 2, in a month's time, we'll look at some minis I've actually painted with the set and see how they've stood up to use

I have one of those psycho brushes going on 7 or 8 years now, it does eyes.... Anything else honestly I can get with a fine tipped brush of any size. I do like the triangle handle though, just feels nice. I don't have any complaints about the Army Paint brushes I have/used. I bought a AK interactive brush to try, but I have to clear out my brush container before I actually try it lol.

I've just watched the video then looked in my brush collection and thrown nearly half of them away. I've always avoided spending lots of money on brushes, I've avoided synthetic brushes but beyond that I've stuck with whatever was a reasonable price at my local model/hobby shop. Currently it's Hobbycraft so I'm on a set of Humbrol Evoco that is showing it's age, and is a victim of my own neglect. It'll be interesting to see the results of your test, the triangular handle seems like a good idea.
