After several days of detective work, I've traced a persistent electrical fault to its origin. The bad news is that it's the charger for my laptop, which means my laptop is out of commission until I have a new charger (already ordered!).

The good news is that this means spending more time play-testing. Today, we're looking at the integration of shooting with movement.

These asteroids are providing my test pilot with a helpful shooting gallery. But I'm now wondering where the hell all the little damage markers from my copy of Battlefleet Gothic got to, because they were cool af, not to mention the nice little lingering effects they provided.

Anyway, blowing stuff up is surprisingly cathartic even in tabletop form.

That’s a seriously cool battlemat. Snazzy spaceship too!

I have yet to paint my StratoYagers. I just did a very narrow Zenthial priming on them. Playmat looks great, is it mousepad? I have an old felt mat that does the job. Blowing asteroids is the quintessential introductory scenario (I just played it on "In the Black" Beta on Steam).

Yes, is lovely. The folks at Gamemat.eu sent me a stack of mats to feature in videos and photography etc. (I only asked for permission to reproduce their images and they practically forced me to send them a wishlist!). I've just finished a basic PVP mission of one-on-one dueling. It went very well.
