HARRY POTTER 1 UNCUT

Oh, wow, haven't watched you in a while, and I might be crazy but you look a little different. Anyway, I love that you're watching this movie series.

Also, a couple of fun facts: Petunias, in the flower language, represent resentment, which is the reason for Harry's aunt's name. In the scene where Harry let the snake out, J.K. Rowling didn't account for the facts that snakes don't have eyelids, so it couldn't have winked at Harry. In the book, during his first encounter with Harry, Professor Quirrel had no problem shaking his hand, as Voldemort's soul hasn't fully attached itself to him.

funny you say that! I started a carnivore diet 3 months ago, after being on a mostly vegan diet for 8 years. Starting in Jan, I only eat beef chicken and turkey everyday and am still going strong. My face has changed in shape and puffiness. I do look different in the face and it is slimmer/less puffy.

Also, to give you a better understanding of the houses: Gryffindor values courage, Slytherin values ambition, pride and cunning, Ravenclaw values wisdom and thirst for knowledge, Hufflepuff values loyalty, kindness, fairness and diligence. In other words, while, due to the nature of students that belong to the Slytherin house, it's more likely that those people will go bad, it's not a given.

It's actually funny that you commented on the haunted quality of Dan's eyes (Harry's actor Daniel Radcliff) because there is a similar comment that was made during the 20th Anniversary show (which you should totally watch after watching the whole series!) when they mentioned trying to find the actor to play Harry. Petunia was SO jealous. In the books, if I remember right, (it's been awhile since I reread them); Petunia it was discovered, had been sending letters to Dumbledore, wanting to attend Hogwarts as well and Dumbledore politely responded that she would be unable to attend as she did not have any aptitude for magic. You should take the Pottermore quiz to find out your house/patronus/and wand! "He's fine. He's a fine daddy" LOL I totally concur. I absolutely love Severus' actor! Alan Rickman did SUCH a good job playing Severus. He is easily one of my favorite characters in the movie and in the books! No - Voldemort was indeed in Slytherin. However - Dumbledore was in Gryffindor as was Professor McGonagall! I kind of wish they had kept in the poltergeist named Peeves from the book - he was definitely a quirky thing in the castle and was to no end, the cause of pranks. If you pay attention in the scene in the great hall with the Remembrall - you'll notice that the thing that Neville forgot was his cloak. He's just got the white shirt and pull over but not the robes. In the books however, James wasn't a Seeker, he was a Chaser. The descriptions of the characters compared to the actors is...sort of accurate though their are some differences. Harry is supposed to have black hair and green eyes - he looks like his father but with his mother's eyes, Lilly also had red hair. Emma is a bit prettier than what Hermione is depicted as and I think Ron is on point. The bludgers in Quidditch aren't exactly -alive-. They are enchanted to zoom around and try to harrie the other players. The Beaters job is to knock the bludgers away from their teammates and try to make it harder on the other team. Seamus Finnigan is the boy who keeps blowing up stuff - as he is described by another character later on 'He has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics' lol, not a curse. "The Dark Arts teacher fainted..." lolol. A funny tidbit that you might not have caught - when they opened up the broomstick packing, you can see Oliver Wood next to them, gawking open mouthed at the broomstick haha.

You made it damn near impossible to sync up by pausing and rewinding every 2 minutes

colette i sort you into ravenclaw!

this is a picture in picture reaction. it's not meant to be synced really. she only has the video looking like that for copyright. I'm a HP reaction expert, this is super easy to watch seeing as most of us can recite these movies by heart now.
