I fucking knew she had ulterior motives. But this really creates a no-win situation for Lucas. Either he: 1) Agrees to dig up the skull and tells Jennifer he’s gotta go, which 100% kills the mood. 2) Agrees to dig up the skull, doesn’t tell Jennifer, and sneaks out, which’ll kill the mood even worse when she discovers she’s been ghosted (pun intended.) Also Lucas is topless, he can risk tacking on indecent exposure to his rap sheet. or 3) Refuse to dig up the skull and face Jennifer as he is. I guess Isla also could just be fucking with him here, but I don’t expect a cop-out.

Possibly. I’m working on the assumption that she’d only possess after he does the deed. IMO, if she was gonna do it for him, Isla would’ve said something like “you gotta let me dig up my body…”

This is the artists story, I doubt there's been any change from what the artist always wanted. We don't know where this is going which is great imo. I like that it's unpredictable and I trust the artist to deliver a satisfying conclusion for the characters however it goes.
