IMO I think she has a more insidious plan in the works. She’s stuck around for this long for a reason. If she really just wanted to use Lucas for what was essentially a one-night stand, she would’ve left him to revert back to his normal self 90 pages ago. She specifically requested her skull, which makes me think her body has been dead long enough to have decomposed to skeletal remains, not exactly suitable host material. Now that she’s turning Lucas into what essentially is a copy of her physical form, I think she intends to possess Lucas one final time after s/he retrieves her skull and in some way use it to make the change permanent. Changing Lucas’s body has had the side effect of changing his mental state too. He’s gone from fear of Isla, to reluctant acceptance, to dependence, to cooperation. His self-confidence rising between possessions and views of his shifting body also show growing sense of self-worth, possibly instilled by the possessions. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in the graveyard after this. I doubt he gives this body up without a fight.

The last couple of pages has shown that Isla talking about and admiring other body parts has caused near immediate changes.
