Hello everyone :)It's the festive season and I spent the weekend drawing up a 2 page special for Christmas. Here's page 1 and page 2 will be out on Christmas Day :)I think I'm going to have to skip The Portrait for this week though as I've just been too busy working on this. Sorry about that, but Steve and Sally will be back next Sunday.Anyway, I hope you enjoy this Christmas special!

2026-09-05 19:00 I might be overthinking a holiday special but it does pose some interesting questions regarding Isla’s ghost powers. She possesses both Jimmy and Sam for a minute or two at a time each, yet they seem to have gone in totally different directions post-possession. Jimmy reverted back to the way he was and Sam is now presenting as a woman. Perhaps possession awakened Sam to her transgender identity, or maybe changes kept happening despite depossession. Maybe Isla made return visits for whatever reason and finished the job like she did with Luca. We may likely never know for sure but it’s neat to think about.

These holiday specials are probably not canon to the main story. And that’s perfectly fine. It allows Anya and us to have fun with these characters in a way we probably won’t see in the main story.

The fact Sam was fine with her gender presentation changing is trans coded to me - if she was cis she'd have ended up dysphoric. And genitalia don't make you a man or a woman.
