**disclaimer: the reply that this is written in response to was deleted, my comments are not intended as against the original commenter** A) it's fictional B) it's not unheard of for transwomen (maybe trans people in general, idk) to be into stories with nonconsensual or forced transformations because it can bring about the same goal but removes the stigma of being trans. "Hey I'm just like you but a witch turned me into a girl, jeez I'm really mad about it," because sometimes there is a lot of Internalized shame about being trans and there is definitely plenty of societal pressure not to be trans so when fiction presents a way to imagine us getting what we want but still having the opportunity to point the finger and say "don't blame me, this was done to me, I didn't choose it," it's a nice bit of escapism C) nobody's made you stick around for almost 200 posts of this story in the past year and a half if you're not enjoying it

The way I see it, the fact that Luca isn't freaking out is the point itself. You said it yourself. A cis person would be freaking out and immediately realize the implications here. And yet, Luca is just going along with it. There was the moment of outrage, but, it immediately fell away after the focus was drawn off of it. The easiest and simplest explanation for that is that Luca feels more comfortable this way, and is able to just relax and let it happen as a result. Sure, there are life consequences to deal with, which may be a problem, but, clearly, they aren't too upset by the situation. They probably don't realize how comfortable it is, but, that's normal. They might eventually realize later on after changing back. Because in a lot of stories and cases like this, you don't realize how much better it felt until it's gone.

Reading your rant was actually a painful experience? If you've been here from the beginning, why are you choosing to waste money on a story that you find so irritating? Learn to differentiate between fiction and reality. People are here for that first thing, and if they stay, that means that this type of narrative appeals to them. Loosen up, or you'll pop a vein.

I was thinking that except a parka is a totally different style than what's shown. Parkas are almost always heavy winter coats, either of sturdy modern synthetic or, if soft like depicted, fur lined. So yeah, that could be it potentially but would still be an odd choice.
