So Isla is born. Since the man previously was not from this town I have a feeling this is how the legend starts. She’s not dead (yet) this creature whatever it is probably steals his soul entirely or manipulates her soul just like how she manipulates bodies when she needs them. The power scaling is honestly hard to pin.

Commenters agree that Isla is Luca's ancestor. Well, that could be true. The resemblance is striking. So, can we assume that if Isla somehow stumbles upon Luc's family, one of the other members will also be able to spot her? I say "family" because, if I remember correctly, there was no mention of Luca living in any lodgings.

Isla? Luca's ancestor? I'm starting to believe she's both. Either way we are instore for more. And she will have to find a new line of work. Given the lack or family or support in the village, probably a Mise or Oiran. Look it up.

Edo period Shotoku year 4 to be specific. Anya gave us some for shadowing on page 240 of Specter. Still, unless she can prove who she used to be, she has lost all of that. She's on her own, for now at least. With nothing but whatever she was carrying. To include her sword. Which might cause more problems if her samurai buddies recognize it.
