Specifically I'm talking the $10+ tiers. I'm guessing the answer is largely no, because who can really afford that these days? But I still thought I'd ask, since I'd honestly love to spend money on art if I was making enough on Patreon for that to be feasible...

honestly, I'm here for the writing. Art is nice, but it's a different thing and not why I read your works or found out about your patreon (although, if you count the cover for My Own Villainess, it 100% is part of it. great cover).

Yeah, I usually spring for a cover - because it helps engagement - and maybe do occasional bits of art here and there for my own sake? But I know some authors have More Art and that can draw fans in and of itself, so... I figured I'd do an interest check, I guess? I'd honestly just love to have some character art, especially since I'm not the best at visualizing people myself which makes it a bit difficult to describe them sometimes, but the expense just can't be justified as is on a mostly fixed income like mine

What I use to visualise the characters just for the worldbuilding notes is use a game with a character creator like the sims or skyrim. Helps me keep an idea of what the characters look like visually while being free (I already have the games anyways)

I'm glad to hear it helps! No worries if you can't pay into it - I'll be making most of the art free eventually, so I hope you'll enjoy it when it comes out.
