LIA Update — A little explanation about the delay (Patreon)

I know the next LIA update is taking longer than expected, and I completely understand the frustration. I also know that many of you have been waiting patiently for new content, and I really appreciate that patience.

The truth is that the last few weeks have been complicated. My move to a new house took much more time and energy than I expected, and on top of that I had some hardware problems with my RTX 3090 or its power supply.

I had to move my RTX 4070 to another PC so I could keep working, but unfortunately that setup is considerably slower than my usual workstation. Rendering, animations, and other parts of the development process are taking longer than they normally would.

But there is something I don't want to do, rush the update just because I'm late.

I could cut corners, reduce the amount of work, or release something that isn't at the quality level I want. But that's not how I want to make LIA.

I work on almost every part of the game myself — writing, creating the scenes, rendering, animations, programming, sound, and all the other little details that go into an update.

So yes, I'm late. And yes, I understand why some of you are disappointed.

But I'm still working hard on LIA, and my goal hasn't changed, I want to give you the best update I can, not just the fastest one I can.
