Spoilers! And so begins the best story line throughout Doctor Who. Praise be Moffatt!!!

undeadjams

my random tidbit for this episode is that Talulah Riley, who played Miss Evangelista, married Elon Musk....twice.

the way I joyously answered "yes!" when you asked if you were going to be afraid of shadows now

These episodes have so much in them, I always loved them as a kid and just as much as an adult. River Song alone is an awesome idea. Basically seeing the ending of a companion that we (and The Doctor) haven't met yet is such a fun story. I'm glad you're as fascinated with her as I was when I first saw it. And she's characterised really well IMO, you can really feel the emotion in how she interacts with The Doctor. But then you've also got the horror of the Vashta Narada, the possibility of them living in every shadow you see giving nightmares to all the kids who watched it. And that's without even mentioning the sci-fi parts of your existence being digitally saved within a computer that runs a planet sized library. All brought by the same writer who did Blink, among other beloved episodes, in previous series.

"Is it beautiful or is it tragic?" Yes. When you started reacting to Doctor Who, this was the reaction I was waiting for the most (I stayed until 3am to watch it!). It's such a good storyline and it has a great re-watch value since it's setting up an amazing plot Also, you got me giggling at the Black Eyed Peas reference 🤣 IMO, from the Agatha Christie episode onward, the rest of the season is iconic 🤩

These episodes came out when I was 8 years old, I'm still genuinely traumatised from seeing miss evangelista after Donna takes her veil off 😂

Joshua Smith

Absolutely wild to go from low budget 2000s St Trinian's to Elon Musk X2.

Welcome to one of the best episode runs yet

One of the reasons this is my favorite season, there is a lot to come.

As with all Stephen Moffat stories, when you watch it back, all the clues are there, just buried beneath a mountain of stuff happening! It's another great Moffat story.

She's now married to the kid from "Family of Blood", and...he still looks like a kid 😭💀

I'd start a notebook about now to understand timelines, my brain is still in pain and I'm just a couple season's ahead

Jane

For real! By far my favourite episodes these 2!🩷

Damn... I didn't remember Donna being so entirely fucked in this episode. Holy shit that is so tragic 😂😭😭
