Yikes. With the first batch of concepts I was aiming for a "Saturday Morning Cartoon" look, but it ended up making the characters look.... uh.... troubling. Here's the revision.

Are they siblings or friends?

Mark Patten

Just don’t post that sorta thing to twitter. Patreons really okay with it though… for some reason.

jollyjack

I'm just not going to take the risk! XD Someone suggests that one of my designs looks "troubling" for the intended themes; that design is being changed!!!

Leak

Yeah, I've only seen the first image in the notification mail, and thought that maybe you wanted to go the Jazz Jackrabbit-look route, but it was... off, and eeeeh... This design is loads better; and safer to boot... So will this be a case of "Big Farmer" meets "Big Pharma"? :D

Piltheser

Thank you for taking the criticism on board.

Goblinounours

Ha ha ha, I love how I just saw the mail I got with the old concept before it got deleted, clicked and got a 404 error message. Didn't remove the mail, though! :P And yeah, I do prefer these a lot more. :D

aabsurdity

I kinda saw the "troubling" aspects of the design but I knew there was no intent to be "troubling" so I just took them to be cartoony.

ScarySerum

Yeah, I'm also not a fan of the originals. Definitely the right call.

Gorel29

By the way, what of that mouse and lizard comic you had planned?

Fittz

I agree, the change was the right call.

AgonWolfe

Change was a right call, though I hope the size of muscle is still the goal.

Chumlee99

that hasn't stopped 50 years of weirdos taking saturday morning cartoon ladies and going in some pretty disturbing directions

amandamontagne

I mean, Jack did do an entire apsara where Velma Dinkley gets struck with the Pervulator and turns into a big-titty amazon babe. >.>;

Chumlee99

Still waiting on Daphne’s turn with that one

Vices

Still waiting on the Pervulator to be dailed to futa

Louis Inderbitzen

Also the late, great king of Hyper himself Doug Winger made his trademark style by BEING a background artist on Tiny Toons and Animaniacs

GEL

Ah dang. On one hand I agree, on the other hand I would have loved to see what the girl looked like since the e-mail only showed the boy. This is super cute though and I love it.
