21/09/2026 Patch:

Fixed a bug preventing the custom kingdom names & treasuries from saving when exiting the game. Please rename your kingdoms.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE THING. YOU WILL NOT UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE NEW UPDATE IF YOU DO NOT.

IMPORTANT: The Monarch trait is no longer available in Create-A-Sim.

Once you load into a world, you will be greeted with the Royalty Mod Set Up Wizard.Here, you can choose to name your realm, choose the Monarch & government type.Monarchs are now restricted to ONE per realm, unless you chance to ‘Multiple Monarchs’ in the cheat menu.This means there are no more randomly generated Townie Monarchs!

All realm info is logged in the Royalty Mod Settings folder which generates in your mods folder. Do not delete or move this folder as you will lose your save’s info.

Accessing the Ledger

You can access the new Royal Ledger either through clicking on your sim, navigating to the Royalty Mod pie menu and clicking ‘Royal Ledger’, OR by clicking the phone, navigating to the new Realm phone menu and choosing the Royal Ledger in there.

In here, you can also access the Setup Wizard & Designate an heir.

Realm Summary

Allows you to view all the important information for each realm. View all details such as realm ruler, government type, treasury, heirs, tax rate, law, diplomacy, ect here.

View All Realms

Allows you to quickly see at a glance which realms/worlds are established and which aren’t.

Laws

Here you can implement and repeal laws for your world, as you could do before through the pie menu.You can also change laws for other worlds here, in order to help you set up and manage all worlds throughout your royal save.Laws overview allows you to quickly see what laws are active for each world in the save.

Diplomacy

The Diplomacy menu expands on the original diplomacy which is also still available via the communications book.Here, you can manage relations for your world to others, manage other world’s relations & easily access royal correspondences.

In order to begin a war against another world, you must first declare yourself hostile towards them in the diplomacy menu.

Treasury

Here you can manage your realm’s treasury. You can collect your taxes once every 7 days.You can also deposit or withdraw to/from the treasury from your household’s funds.You can click ‘All Realms’ to easily access their treasury data as well.

The tax rate is base amount (§500) × tax rate × soldier scale × realm happiness

War

This is one of the most interactive new menus in the update and is designed to replace the old war menu.Here you can command your campaigns and work your way up to claiming the thrones of other worlds.

You can be at war with multiple different worlds, and you can choose who you want to the military operation to target.The military operations are entirely dependent on your treasury & the amount of soldiers you have mustered.You can check your ranks & run drills to gain more soldiers for your army.IMPORTANT:Military Operations work on a tier level. You are not able to immediately send in your troops for an invasion to another land.You must first send out scouts to map the enemy territory, which will then unlock the rest of the battlefield operations.You must win at least one battlefield operation before the Invasion option is unlocked.Once you lead a successful invasion, you will then have the option in the Military Operations menu to take the throne of that land (you will keep your current throne too).

You can also view & manage the conflicts of other realms under ‘Choose a Realm’.

The military operations have received a facelift, updating them from the original Ancient Greek style into more generic war.

You now also can get treasury income from trade routes after sending out a scout during any war.

Royalty Mod Tutorials

You are now able to search a keyword to find a tutorial you need!All RM tutorials have been added to the game, so if you find yourself stuck on anything then you can simply search a keyword such as; ‘heir’, ‘peasant’, ‘tax’, ect.Or, you can click ‘All Topics’ to see all the tutorials available.

Realm Cheats

This space contains all the useful cheats you need for the mod!

You can restart the setup wizard here, rename your world, claim the throne, enable multiple monarchs per world, change government type, cheat add to treasury, cheat add more soldiers and add/remove any royalty mod trait here (plus more).

What is the Royalty Mod?

The Royalty Mod introduces a dynasty system into The Sims 4. Your Sims can now:

Hold royal titles (King, Queen, Prince, etc.)

Build noble houses and family legacies

Participate in court life with roles like knights, advisors, and servants

Manage royal duties like coronations, alliances, and public appearances

Pass titles and power to their heirs

Step-by-Step Install Guide

Delete ALL old versions of the Royalty Mod first.(Do not just overwrite, fully remove old files to avoid duplicates.)

Download the latest version.

Unzip (Extract) the folder you downloaded.

Place the entire folder into your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder.

Important:

DO NOT rename the Royalty Mod folder!⚠️ It must stay exactly as:llazyneiph_royalty_modOtherwise, the scripts will not work.

Enable Script Mods and Custom Content in your Sims 4 settings:

"Enable Custom Content and Mods"

"Script Mods Allowed"

Restart your game after enabling mods.

New File Structure

Previously, the mod had multiple folders with separate loose package files.

Now everything is merged into one .package file, for easier installation.

Some optional features (like Auto-Class Systems) are still separate so you can choose your preference.

You must delete all old Royalty Mod files before installing this new version! Otherwise, you’ll have conflicts and errors.

Choosing Your Auto-Class File

Inside the mod folder, you will find three different auto-class options.Please only install ONE! Choose based on how you want class to be assigned:

Cash & Lot ValueAssigns class traits based on BOTH your Sim's household cash and the value of their lot.

Cash OnlyAssigns class traits based on your Sim's household cash only.

Lot Value OnlyAssigns class traits based on your Sim's lot value only.

Don't put all three in your Mods folder, pick the one that best suits your gameplay!

You've added a lot of cool things since I removed this mod about a year ago! Great work :D Just one question, I accidentally imprisoned the queen with the celldoor, but she never actually went into the cell but now she walks around with the sad moodlet xD And when I click the door again it says "Lock'em up!" and i can pick everyone BUT her, no option to let her out. Even tho she's technically out already xD Are they not supposed to walk through the door? And how do I get her free?

Go onto her and then shift click out of the cell and teleport. Its a cheat but It should get her out

Bad news! I tested it by removing every other mod in my Mod folder (including CC) and it seems the Royalty mod now prevents my sims from traveling + performing most tasks. They can grab their phones and perform the talking animation, but the world travel menu never opens. Also, even though my royal sims are gentry class and the lot value + cash amount are well within 'gentry' standards, the lights still turn off for my sims when I outlaw 'Power' for peasants.

I am confused with this mod my sim is sleeping and his reputation keeps going down. It says he is caught red handed. Not sure what the heck he is doing to make his reputation keep tanking

I'm having the same issue, also it seems every time I try to change the mischief law, it says "outlawed" but it doesn't seem to repeal, now all my royals have atrocious reputations starting from childhood. It's frustrating. It also doesn't say WHAT law they broke, making it hard to see what part is bugged

is there any ways i can cheat the household "house of -simlastname-" thing in my sims traits, my heir glitched and its gone back to the brown version but my current monarch (their parent) have the gold long lineage but i want to cheat it back however theres no option in the cheats menu

SimmerAddicted, with the Mc command centre mod you can cheat the trait to your heir, just click on the sim you want to add the trait, choose Mc Command Centre, search in the cas menu - add trait, the "House", then it should pop up

Please update the mod, I love this mod but I can't use it. It would be great if the servants could be like Bonedelia (or whatever that weird skeleton maid is called) where they live and constantly do their "work" with out you having to do anything unless you need a specific task.

Hello :-) I installed the mod once, and the "claim as throne" function (I think that's what it was called) worked beautifully! Sadly, it no longer works. I wonder if it's due to the obscene amount of CC I'm using. Has anyone else had this problem?

Few things that aren't working properly for me: 1. Daily Duties "Receive in X room" I've got the markers down for each of the three rooms but the only one I can receive an audience in is the Throne room, the rest don't walk to the room designated. 2. Servants - Calling for existing Servants ie Cook, Maid, etc calls for the Servant that should be in that category but it's assigning them as a different Servant, Cook shows up as a Maid for example. Servants also stop the 3 x speed when household Sims are sleeping. 3. Knights, if I use the Royalty Cheat Menu to assign a sim as a Knight rather than my Monarch doing it, they don't get all the options available when clicking on them. Also when a Monarch assigns them as a Knight, I don't get any options to change their armor colour as shown in the tutorial. 4. The Nobility career is getting the same promotion tasks as the Astronaut Career is and my sims go to work wearing an astronaut outfit, unless I cheat to change it. 5. Reinstating / Outlawing things doesn't work, you can only outlaw something and once you click it again to enable it it just confirms it's outlawed again, tutorials also don't work clicking them from the Royalty Mod Menu does absolutely nothing. I think that's everything I've encountered but I'll update if anything else crops up! Appreciate it's a big mod but there's several bugs at the moment or atleast on my end.

Update: I deleted and then added the mod again and it stopped infinite loading, but now other sims just enter the households and never leave. You can't "send home" either. Deleted the mod and they all left. Added the mod again and got the same issue.

I deleted and redownloaded the mod and now it's not showing up in my game. I keep downloading and redownloading the injectors and mod but it just won't show up in my game. I've downloaded mods before, but for some reason I need a step by step process in putting this mod in my folder.

Hello, I am unable to use the coronation podium... when my monarch dies, I organise the coronation event, but when I do the "accept the crown" action with my heir, nothing happens. He just stands there for a second. I always have to talk to the royal advisor to accept it. Thank you.

For some reason my king or queen I can’t title that it’s not in the action part or anywhere outs his other family or her other family like the partner or the kids I can change to that I can’t change the king or queen there’s just nothing there for them and I like the little icons that around The plumbob thing but I have noticed that if I remove that auto class trade thingo it doesn’t work without it

My servants keep leaving and then there is a new one every minute and they don't really do much but make drinks all day and not clean up. And most of the time the "call upon servant" option on the pie menu doesn't show up for some of my sims 4

My monarch can't ever collect taxes, they can only raise or lower them, the sunday markets don't work and they don't get the chance to ask citizens to give them money. Oh and the royal audience event doesn't give me questions to answer anymore. Do you know why this is happening?

Hey for now you can use the cheat traits.remove_trait LN_RM:trait_Hidden_Servant whilst having the sim selected. I will add this to the cheats menu next update :)

I cannot invite nobility to my coronation event. I tried using the book of titles and using the baron "get famous" system. Neither one works so I can't complete this goal :(

Hello, I am experiencing a bug problem that is solved as soon as I remove the royalty mod: when I have the mod in I can no longer access build mode from the world map view. Any ideas what I need to do to fix it ?

Hi I have this mod, however the monarch career option isn't showing up in the list of careers. I've downloaded the mod a couple times, thinking I'd missed a file or something but it's all there plus the XML Injector and the MAL22 Trait Injector. Is it a glitch or something?

Oh thank you, I’d opened the game again and the trait was gone and I didn’t realise. Had to cheat and go back in to CAS and re-add it

Hi, I've been playing with this mod however there are a few things not showing in game. The "Book of Bestowing Titles" isn't available in buy items, my sim can't "anoint a spouse" to complete the achievement, and there's no way for me to hold a "charity fundraiser" to complete the aspiration. I've been stuck trying to complete these but can't find a way around it.

back again, I have another question: Is there any chance you could make a file I can add to replace the custom titles file? I have a Mac and the program I would need to change the custom titles doesn't work on iOS :( I was hoping to get Marquess and Marchioness, Earl and Countess, Viscount and Viscountess, Baron and Baroness, Dowager Queen, and Princess Royale.

Hey, if you're on a mac you use Sims 4 Studio to change the titles! There is a tutorial on the discord for this, it's in the channel called #customizable-titles. I haven't had time to put this in the google doc so the discord is the only place to find the tutorial for now. Hello, thanks for the awesome mod! I've noticed that there's no "Del Sol Valley Noble" trait. Did I do something wrong with installation? Everything else is working just as expected except that bit. Even adding a noble title such as Baron does not give that trait. Is it missing from the mod?

Hello! I’m loving this mod so far! I have a quick question about the coronation event. I am having trouble meeting the requirements for people and I was wondering if there was a work-around. For example, the event requires two royal guests. I have only two royal sims in the whole game; the heir and her twin sister (apparently the heir’s husband doesn’t count). But the heir can’t be both the heir and a royal guest, so I can really only select one royal guest and so I can’t begin the event. I also don’t have any famous guests because I don’t use the fake system. Is there any way to override these requirements?

The Noble rabbitholes are currently just enabled for Nobility, but am adding it to Royals since this was an oversight on my part :)

Hello, would it be possible to add interactions about the heir in future updates. For example pick if men should be prioritised heir, the kind could pressure the wide to give him an heir or a male heir to keep the line and there could be consequences for not providing an heir. Also is it possible to make the lady in waiting automatically travel to a lot with the person they follow?

Hi. I'm running on a MiraRae save file that has all of the Maxis NPCs removed and a few new families (in case it makes a difference) and when my monarch tries to call for servants, no one shows up at all. I even moved some "servant" type people into an empty house to see if that makes a difference but nothing so far. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Something in this new patch was really slowing down my game and making my game freeze completely. I removed the new Missing Princess files from the folder and it started working normally again.

Hey, have you checked to make sure it wasn't the Notification Wall bug? A lot of the times when it's got a lot of messages, it really slows the game down. You can fix it by deleting them all. I will check out the MP files tomorrow though and see if they're causing it! :)

I wasn't receiving a lot of messages . I was having it glitch a lot and then whenever I would do something like fast forward time or have my Sim work on the computer, it would completely freeze. The rest of the mod is working with my game fine so I'll keep using the other parts of it as normal!

The child of my Monarch and Royal Partner Sims are being labeled as Illegitimate Royals instead as Crown Royals, plus the Royal Partners/Crown Royals have both the Tartosa Royal traits as well as the trait that says that they're the Royal of the world they live in. I think they're both bugs that need addressing.

Hi I am very interested in using this mod, as it sounds like allot of fun! But I got a question, is the auto classes a must have with the mod? As I would like to play with just some sims been royals etc but in like a more modern setting like the kinda modern it is ingame, and so I do not want everyone to like be part of it if that makes sense, I do not want my sims to be auto assigned anything, or is that part of the mod a must to make it all work? :D

It's not a must at all! You shouldn't run into any issues if you just delete the folder 'Auto-Classes (CHOOSE ONLY ONE)' :)

Illiteracy was completely removed from 2.7.4 version and will only be in your game if you downloaded the optional illiteracy file. To post in the discord you must have a verified email address, registered on discord for longer than 5 minutes and be on the server for longer that 10 minutes, as this has been the only way we have been able to keep spam bots out of the server. You can always contact me without paying for Patreon through tumblr if you still can't use the Discord. If you don't have a tumblr account, you can send an email to llazyneiph@gmail.com although I don't tend to use that for troubleshooting. Make sure to update to this latest version and it should fix your issue :)

Does anyone know how to remove the servant trait? It spawned royal family members as servants and I can't remove the trait. I've wiped them clean a few times and it still shows up when I load a new household, or travel back to the home.

Hi!!! Firstly ILOVE LOVE LOVE this mod!!! I am having a bit of trouble though since the new update. My sim can’t enrol in university amd when they try my game freezes and I have to force quit it. I have done the 50/50 elimination method and it seems to be this mod that is causing the issue 😩😩😩😩. Any help would be great thank you!!!

I love the idea of the servants, but they just keep spawning. I have about 5 on the lot, and none of them really do anything other than the gardener or the one maid who just washes clothes in dirty water over and over again. Is it possible to disable them?

It would be cool to add more titles for Heirs like Crown Prince and Princess. And perhaps Prince or Princess Consort titles. I would use custom titles to add these for myself but the STBL does not work for me sadly.
