So she can understand how she gets insulted in online games (like CSGO). Insulting them back will be hard without an Cyrillic keyboard.

Derek

Sassy! Just like her mother?

BrockNet

If you find her practicing Krav Maga in the garage or picking up dead drops at the airport, best not to ask questions.

Chris Osborne

Better to follow the craziness with I guess.

Erik

Clearly the only logical response is to learn more than her and beat her at her own game. That’s what parents are for, right?

Beau C

Perhaps it’s a guy/girl she likes 😁

So I can offer some helpful advice for Jeff on this. If you ignore Duo long enough EVENTUALLY they'll stop breaking your heart. AND you don't have to uninstall the app and feel bad about it. The trick is to never open the app though or Duo stabs you in the heart again with sad faces... Not that I would know from personal experience 👀

Jeremiah Avery

Waiting for when she says "I must break you." ;-)

In soviet russia, bird no longer needs you.

Mystery

Oh no! Next she'll be drinking borscht and eating caviar! there goes all your $$$$$...well, not on the beet soup just grow some in your back yard. Beets taste like dirt! lol

Kaethos

вместо этого она могла бы выучить украинский язык.

Mystery

ooh, I just thought of a really good reason your daughter is learning Russian...to curse in another language and you won't know what she's saying! Oh that is so teenager!

Brian Miles

Emotional damage. It was super effective 😭

Keep waiting for this to turn up outside so I can share it with some people who haven't used duolingo in a long time. :-o

Zap Blast

I think it's clear; Pizza Roll is a CSIS agent in deep cover.

I started learning Russian on duo because my area of the town has a large Russian population. Spanish would probably have been more practical, but I seem to have a knack for learning impractical things lol. It must be the artistic urge to choose form over function, no doubt you can relate!
