So Thursdays and Sundays it is! We'll do one live every 2 weeks either Thursday or Sunday(if you have a VERY strong preference for one or the other - let me know,

BUT ALSO! Now is the time to suggest anything you'd like to collectively discuss! I will be back with a list to vote on for the first piece we will be discussing. I have a few ideas already, but I want to know if there's anything you guys really want to discuss!

oooh so excited!! looking forward to see what others wanna talk about. if I had to recommend ONE book, it would be Annie Ernaux Simple Passion (1991), which got rereleased and translated in 2021, winning a Nobel Prize in '22. (fuck i just saw they made it a romance movie?? ALREADY hate it) it's a fictionalised memoire and it discusses Love, Lust, and Loss from the perspective of a hot Parisian woman in her... 40s? it made me rethink my own relationships to others and even to myself. the book is about 100 pages, I finished it in a two hour sitting (i am a slow reader)

For a book maybe Bunny by Mona Awad! Also are girly media rewatches or game letsplays applicable here or you wanted to do it on yt?

Oliwier

ooh what is this Bunny about?

I've read just a bit myself, but so far it's about weird things happening to this annoying girl at the elite uni after she meets local mean girls and starts mingling with them despite her initial will I love how it's written! And for the lit club we could discuss our art uni experiences once again, main girl's opinions, or at the very least just meet up and judge every character.... I think it might a little body-horrorish (not sure) so maybe not everyone's cup of tea 🫣

My dream is for you and Waverly to play Nancy Drew Warnings at WAVERLY academy lol....... and there's Lisa in Nancy Drew Treasure in the Royal Tower... no Bissistants in the Nancy Drew universe I fear 😔💔

on crip ...

The essay by Adorno "On the Fetish-Character in Music and the Regression of Listening" (1938) would be fun to discuss as a group lol "A Cyborg Manifesto" (1985) essay by Haraway might be cool too

yeah we should watch some movies as well! and discuss them hehe

Yeah, with archives on YT, we could watch ahead and discuss; and with public domain ad-free movies, might be able to do watch-alongs.
