Just caught up over the holiday break here in the states. I was curious before but you made me want to know more about Mary Shelleys life. The tidbits you shared here are very interesting lmao. I resonate with the idea of a works intent being more fluid and encompassing different elements of an authors life. For this book it kind of feels like these are various sections of a story combined together. The tone shifts slightly every couple chapters. Also I read this book back in high-school but i didn’t remember a thing reading it this second time. The only thing I remembered was the monster running up the mountain super easily. I dont know why that stuck with me lol
