Just a bit (?) of extra detail. Be was self directed largely by the members during C19. There was a lot of content & lives of them talking through the process before & after its release. For Telepathy, Yoongi worked on it during In the soop s1. Also, Blue & Grey was originally intended for Tae's mixtape and was featured during in the soop while Tae was out on the lake. Stay was meant for JK's mixtape. Dis:ease - the bridge was created by Jimin and the song mostly created by Hobi. Joon talked about the creation of Life Goes on in a set of great interviews the members did around that time - they interviewed each other. (plus of course the raps on the songs were written by the rapline respectively) You may remember life goes on from D-day album It was what Yoongi wrote at the time of Be but they went with version we know https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/be/ That's a lot, sorry. This album has always just felt very crisp and coherent to me, but I do tend to skip Dynamite because it has definitely run its course for me :D just to comment on that youtube channel whose videos you watched here (Jaeguchi? or something along those lines), they often translate Korean lyrics poorly and type English lyrics wrong, and they also quite regularly assign wrong lyrics to the wrong members

BTS was supposed to do a world tour and go into a hiatus in 2020. but the tour was cancelled and they had to replan the whole year and the years ahead again. since they couldn't do anything they wanted to release an album for everyone to relate to since it was such hard times. That's how Be was born!! (Blue and Grey was supposed be in the V's album that's probably why he carried the song so well!)

omg rj so happy that you are checking out another bts album 😭 if you continue with this theme (i hope so) I REALLY HOPE you can check Dark&Wild by BTS (2014) their first full album and i am so sure you are going to love it. when you said HYYH pt1 set a high bar for you i thought about this album... it might even be better and the rnb songs here might really suit your taste. no need to mention that Dark&Wild is one of the most loved BTS album so im sure everyone would love it 😭 i don't know where else to say this sorry it is too much 😔🙏

I think I read a comment on the last video wrong and thought Jaeguchi was the preferred channel for lyric videos lol, clearly not. It’s kinda okay cause the most important thing for me is the music, I can also review the proper lyrics after cause I can’t pay close attention to both, but also preferably, it’d be nice if the lyrics were correct too lol

Yes, Jaeguchi lyrics are known for being wrong, especially for the songs with deeper meanings for some reason. The yt channel with the most accurate translations is 'DIAL 6137' so I'd suggest those lyric videos for future reactions. Love your reactions as always RJ!

Yes Jimin and V sound gorgeous together! Dis-ease is my favorite song on this album, I really appreciate the theme of the song and the bridge is so good. I do love dynamite (although I prefer butter) but it’s far from being my favorite bts song. It’s just fun and brings up a lot of good memories for me because the whole release day was so much fun. My least favorite song on this album is probably stay, I like edm occasionally (and I think I like it more now than when this album came out) but it’s not my favorite genre. Also, I just came home after seing Hobi at lollapalooza in berlin, feels surreal that I’ve actually seen one of them live.
