I've been wanting to do this for a while now but I've finally set up everything in order to show you how I go about DJing. My setup, preparation, my techniques, everything is there! If you have any other questions feel free to @ me in the patreon discord :D Happy DJing!!!!

Vlad Cucuian

is this another april fool's joke

DAEKON

April fools?

Müs Amseth

Was really looking forward to a mastering masterclass

gru koin

this is awesome, thanks so much for making. been wanting to transition from smashing different tracks together/making transitions in FL to actually DJing but till now had no idea where to actually start

buunshin

Sorry about that! It was an joke but it also kind of wasn't. Putting a limiter on the master is really all I do, the rest comes down to preventing mixing problems when I create the sounds before they hit the master. Maybe itll already help if you listen to music from that perspective to see how that could work in your workflow <3

buunshin

i know i deserve this, but its actually not a joke this time around ahahaha

DAEKON

ahhahahaah

Bo De

This was such a quality video, Ferry. Thank you so much

Frank

Thanks for the simple but profound advice. I can confirm that your music seems to lend itself well to grid analysis (with exception of All About This, LoL). Your friend's IMANU's music is horrible to import and match :)
