Would love to know how you make snares which are more white noisey, snares which don't have an obvious body tone, fingersnap/clap snares etc. Would you still use a sine transient for those, and could you build those with mostly white noise or do they tend to be more sample based?

do you ever mix in a resonant EQ with an envelope? I've made some good snares by doing this instead of using ProQ3's built in dynamics because it's so fast.
