Arielster Animatic + WIP Animation (Patreon)

About a year ago, I made an animatic featuring Ariane and Elster from SIGNALIS to try out Clip Studio Paint's animation features. Made some progress into animating it too but eventually ran out of steam (very overambitious) and left it incomplete. This past 5/12 (a SIGNALIS-related number for those who don't know) reminded me of it and, rather than sit on my PC forever, I thought to share it in case someone might enjoy it.

As my first attempt at using CSP for animation, there are definitely some things that I would tweak if revisited but I think it's best to move on, so please enjoy it as it is 💖💕

For those who are unfamiliar with SIGNALIS, here is some brief context:

Ariane (light grey color in the animatic) is human and Elster (darker grey) is essentially an android. At the time of this scene, I imagine they'd have already spent much time together during their long voyage through space as the sole voyagers aboard their scouting space ship.
