Carpet weaving is an essential part of there culture. Each design representing the culture it originated form. Commercially, Selaikic rugs were sold across the known world since the archemanid empire1.

They were valued for their durability, size and ornate colorful patterns.

Because of their size, rugs and carpets were widely used by the selaiki population for sitting on.
