I was so baffled by you guys liking the Sonic anime. I hated it so much, they made Sonic seem like a dick. Also the whole thing is about Robotnik trying to bang Sonic's girlfriend who also happens to be the president's daughter. As I wrote that I realised that's also basically the plot to most Mario media.

There's a beach here in Amsterdam that is manmade, at the edge of town and i find it an affront to god. I've never been to the beach and i never will. Theres a reason why beach means death in literature.

Totally with Nick on this. Lake is gross. Being in fresh water is nasty. Doesn’t seem right. Salt water or chlorinated. But rivers are good. There’s some guided white water tours in NorCal.

As a lifelong resident of Minnesota and Michigan, I’ve only been swimming in the ocean once, but in my opinion there’s no better beach than the sandy shores of Lake Superior. Much cleaner than smaller lakes, less crowded than the ocean. Plus, when you inevitably get water in your sinuses, the lack of salt makes it a less-terrible experience.

So this ova near as I can telll was a weird hybrid of original Sonic lore( a "human" girlfriend) from Sonic CD advertising and just whatever the staff thought was cool. Its amazing it turned out so well.

To Heather's question about whether listeners enjoy watch-alongs, I for one love them and do actually save the episodes to listen to when I'm able to actually listen along with the visuals. Keep 'em coming! Would love to see some other anime adaptations of video games.
