I've had a cold chicken deli sandwich every night for dinner for 2 months now. Pickles and side of chips. I don't eat lunch so it doesn't feel weird.

Matt, agreed. Cold sandwich is not dinner. Hot sandwich though that’s dinner. Cheesesteak, chicken parm sub, hell even a BLT. But an Italian sub, no way. Only in moments of desperation is it ok.

I watch the episodes before the pod if I can. When Matt said, that that's a good teacher, before the flatchested comment , made chuckle a bit.

I’m such a sucker for slice of life high school romance anime and I’m seen a ton of them… Love is War is definitely my favorite!

Guys...I have to tell you about a new anime I've been watching that has REALLY impressed me. "To Be Hero X". It has story, combat, animation, emotion, music...everything. It is animated in various styles, all of which are used very effectively. The story is about a society of Heroes that are basically corporatized by companies (kind of like in the Boys), and their powers come from the people's trust in them. Anyone can be a Hero if the public has enough belief in them. There are 7 episodes out right now. I've been so surprised at the twists, and the heart this show has shown so far. Could even be a show for the Podcast to watch together, as it is planned for only 1 season of 24 episodes. I think everyone on the podcast would find something to love here. ...also Matt is wrong, sandwich can def be dinner.

To be a hero X retroactively makes every other hero anime look like dog doodoo. Each episode somehow has a full movie's worth of story inside.

Can we make the wheel public

I’ll take a what-are-you-cooking segment for recipes, themed or not

Also, cold sandwich is dinner. Especially as hot as it gets here. I mean, Caprese sandwich. Refreshing and delicious.

Matt’s gotta watch Millennium Actress next it’s so wonderful

T Jones

Heather’s Get Cinemad idea is awesome

Brendan McFall

The way I always heard it was "originality is the art of forgetting where you stole from"

Sean Sakimae

Matt is right! 1) Lost is one of the best dramas of all time. 2) the Dodgers fucking rock 3) cold sandwiches for dinner is something they might as well serve at Abu Grahib.

Jon Butts

he just like me for real. my boy matt and i know you gotta have something tasty for dinner. no cold sandwiches
