For example, after buying the Xbox one and feeling like I didn’t want any first party games, I ended up buying games like Witcher 3, Disco Elysium and MGS V just to get some use out of the console despite having other hardware I could have played those games on.

What are your favorite XBLA Game memories 1. I spent a LOT of time on Shoot Many Robots and the Burnout Paradise demo - Also, owning a Zune, canonically Jimmy Eat World's Chase This Light album is the soundtrack to Crackdown 2. My original XBOX was some Halo edition, which who cares, but it was transparent green, which owned bones. It feels like that was the last throes of the “colored clear consoles” until recent retro revivals like the limited Analogue Pockets. The question: why did we ever stop? That shit was sick.

One of the coolest features of the original Xbox was being able to rip CDs and use custom soundtracks in-game. I still remember exploring the lands of Tamriel in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind while jamming out to Seether’s “Fine Again.” What were some of your favorite original Xbox features or accessories? One of my favorite memories when I was a kid was driving across country with my parents - my dad would take out the middle seats of our van and put a tv/vcr combo in the back and cigarette plug adaptor to play my classic Xbox on the floor of the car. The only thing that sucked was the engine needed to be running to power the xbox, so when dad shut the car off without warning me, I would freak out! Do you have a 'travelling with a video game' memory?

360 red ring stories? I got my 360 about 6 months after launch. Over time the fan got so loud it was like having a jet engine in my room. I upgraded to an Elite model when they came out and gave my friend my old 360. Two weeks later it red ringed on him.

In 2015 I bought a console with my own money for the first time. I was torn between ps4 and xbox one. I ultimately chose xbox because my friends were there. I now have both and caught up on the best ps games but I always wondered, what if I chose ps4? How would my life be different? Would I have become the biggest kill zone or infamous fan? Would i have saved millions on Xbox live? Would i have still shit my pants on the roof of that burger king new years eve 2017? What do you guys think? How would your life be different if you went the other way?
