Cal

Looooved this movie ❤️ so glad you covered it

Spudowski

Last Man is SICK. And the only place I think you can even get the now defunct VRV streaming service Mondo dub version with native speaking English voice actors is on Internet Archive, dang near lost media. The expensive ass bluray is I believe native French speakers speaking the English dubs. Definitely check it out.

Cattrax

Just ordered the blu-ray... going to pause this (@ 40min) and cone back to later

Rebecca Moretti

this sounds awesome! I will check it out.

Glad the doughdiac let Suss go so he could try to get some free burgers from the get played crew

GeoSau

I was lucky enough to see this in theaters. I tell everyone I know about it.

Seiko 5 watch line is great entry level automatic watch. Check out automatic watches. Fully mechanical, no battery, winds itself when you move your wrist. Truly awesome!

Bradley Davis

The Mondo dub is so great. If you or anyone else hasn’t seen it, the sequel series has had some fan made english subs made for it, it’s searchable via google and the last man reddit.

There’s a McDonald’s in Orlando on International Drive that still sells the pizza, among other unique and/or discontinued menu items. I know the Doughboys are in Orlando today, I wonder if they got to try it.

The AEDs that are on the walls at gyms and many other places are for use by employees who have had CPR training (typically given by the Red Cross or similar organization). They are pretty easy to use as they have an electronic recorded voice that walks you through each step. I work at a pharmaceutical company and though I am lab based personnel, we train people in each area to respond to an emergency and had to get the Red Cross training.

As far as the security feed - we’re rapidly approaching this as a reality. We saw some use during the Winter Olympics of Gaussian Splats for replay. Corridor Digital just did a video on their use and how they work. Scenes are rendered in full time with near photo realism and you can view the scene from any angle in the scene that the cameras have data on.

When I first saw the trailers for this movie I confused it with a half remembered animation from years ago: Technotise: Edit and I . Very small studio and team. I barely remember the movie, but I hope it’s still good. I mostly remember it’s an amazing accomplishment for a very small team.

Joshua Laguna

Have ya’ll seen the DYE - “FANTASY” music video!? It’s the animation is done by the same folks! Highly recommended!

Bretto

Meet The Feebles (1989) is an obscene Muppets parody by Peter jackson, fran and weta before LOTR. Too many warnings to list.

Neno

I've seen Ai Muppets playing out scenes from "Boyz N the Hood". Puppet violence is crazy.

I fucking loved this movie. I found my self constantly jostled between "thats so cool!" And "thats fucking disgusting!". Both being reactions to any of the futuristic tech that is so normalized that its almost never the focal point of the scene. All of that along with the ghost in the shell like noir and the characters. Chefs kiss. Thanks for sending this one my way

Cattrax

I did buy the Blu-Ray and watched it with the subs... it was a little tough to follow on the first watch, while reading but it was nice to hear the orginal French language. My follow-up watch will be with the Dubs but that won't be for a while, it is a heavy watch: 5 Forks

David Mucci

There’s a disc! I borrowed the Blu-ray from the library to watch. It was good!

Murphy

Late to the party but I think you all will greatly enjoy Arco.

Pete Ficken

Watching this masterpiece made me want to dive back into the Bande Dessinée shelves at my comic shop. A ton of visual/conceptual elements of this film really reminded me of some Of my favorite French comics. And also those vertical interplanetary craft runways, feel straight out of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko’s Venus wars

Pete Ficken

It is definitely deep in the HAC wheelhouse

This episode made me drop 30 bucks on the Blu-ray. After watching it, I would have paid more.
