Crunchyroll's browser version on PC is really easy to use.

Holy shit Heather is so right about the Ghibli movies. I saw Nausicaa first and it's still my favorite haha. My other two favorites are Porco Rosso and Castle in the Sky. I think they are all incredible movies.

Princess Mononoke was my first Miyazaki film, but for some reason I always go back to Howl's Moving Castle. Also, please do Akira, for the love of gawd! And maybe read the Manga too, it's a completely different experience

Top knot is a power move by Wiger - go for it, buddy!

Y'all, there needs to be an emergency episode for when Matt watches AKIRA. Just has to be.

Princess Mononoke was my first Ghibli movie. Also, I feel the same as Heather: watching Denji just enjoy things (similarly to Chisato) has made me want to do the same--just be aware of enjoying things, however "small" they might be. Also also, there needs to be a Chainsaw Man video game, like, yesterday.

Can't wait for the gang to watch Perfect Blue!

Good points on the poor ui and lagging stream with crunchyroll. I have the same issue when using the app on Fire Stick. However, when I run it from my PS5 it runs smoother with little to no lag.

My experience with Ghibli is different from Heather's - saw Grave of the Fireflies first (def not my favorite) along with My Neighbor Totoro, then Mononoke (thought it was eh except for the part where that dude get's beheaded), Spirited Away (close #2), and then Nausicaa (favorite), along with the rest of the cannon in a jumble. I think Nausicaa remains my favorite; the way the story lines up feels the best to me. Interested to see what Matt ends up liking

I worked at Best Buy during the HD-DVD/Blu-Ray War and from what I could see was the main reason Blu-Ray won out was because they had exclusive rights to the Disney library, so any kids movies coming out were only on Blu-ray. Good ol' fashioned capitalism!!

I'm gonna make that French toast coffee that sounds delicious damn!!
