How dumb is it that Rayman in this show is a better journalist than we have irl? He challenged an answer he didn't agree with and demanded that the interviewee clarify and defend their shitty take. After being disappointed that he was a shill for Eden I loved where his arc ended up. I am very excited to see what Ramón does next.

Matt making himself laugh is my favourite thing.

This is the first show y'all have covered that I didn't finish. I didn't care about any of the characters and the animation seemed cheap. Watching everyone's stupid chins flap up and down was killing me, so I went and rinsed my brain out by watching Edgerunners again.

Nathan Maidlow

I hope their commentary track goes like the Action Boyz’ Point Break commentary, where they are silently watching the movie and eating chicken wings for large stretches LOL

I wouldn’t have started this show if it weren’t for this podcast, and if it weren’t for this podcast I’d have bailed one or two episodes in. This show felt dated and contrived. It was trying so hard and rarely succeeded with anything other than pure shock value by choosing story beats that weren’t telegraphed and weren’t justified. This show was bad and boring, but pretty. Even so, the decisions to experiment with the form generally fell flat with me. The show didn’t know what it was about and Ubi Soft doesn’t have the bench of characters for this show to make sense as a branding exercise. Love the podcast, hated this cornball ass show. I hope that if there is a second season (and the show wants one very badly based on the ending) that the podcast doesn’t cover it.

This was fun! I wasn’t aware of this show at all and I’m glad to have watched it along with you guys. The plot definitely lost me towards the very end and there’s few things I’m still wondering about (why did one of the hooded guys tell Rayman to talk to Froggy dude? Was Sara behind that too?) but overall it was a fun watch and the different animation styles were cool.

Michael Pemulis

I'm glad for the people who enjoyed this series. And I'm also glad that it's over.

David Mucci

I’m so glad this was only six episodes. Didn’t care for this show at all, sorry guys.

I'm so excited for the commentary! even though I didn't watch laserhawk, listening to you guys talk about it was a wild ride

It’s crazy to me that the vast majority of people liked FLCL, yet a lot of people didn’t seem to like this. For me personally this was far more enjoyable to watch.

I'm with MK, I also bailed after episode 2. I just didn't connect to any of these characters. I like that it's a big swing, I like the craziness, but maybe this remix was too mixed up! Maybe unmix it a little bit!

I know this is ‘Get Anime’d’ and not ‘Get Zilla’d’ but would give a hearty recommendation to Godzilla Minus One. Would love to hear what you guys think about it. Got nothing to say about captain laserhawk sorry! I don’t know any of these characters!

clearplastichuman

i dont recall their names, but laserhawk's lover showed shaft in one of the episodes so this is a 10/10 for me

I thought this show was fun and a good miniseries, but i'd listen to ya'll talk about drinks or whatever too.
