Trouble accessing the RSS feed? (Patreon)

Hello Everyone!

A few of you have reached out regarding having issues getting your content!

Here are some clarifications:

The episodes will not be hosted natively on Patreon, only through the Acast RSS feed.

If you are having trouble accessing your RSS feed, go to this link here and log in with your patreon credentials: https://open.acast.com/public/patreon/fanSubscribe/7275238

I had to use Google podcasts to access it. It does not work on Spotify as they have not implemented RSS feeds.

I'm on an Android and I recommend the Pocket Casts App. It seemed like you had to pay for it at 1st but you don't. Downloading the RSS feed to the app was easy.

I'm also an Android user and have been using Pocket Casts all year. I used Podcast Addict before this and I think I have to change back. I think the Pocket Casts UI is kind of terrible in comparison.

Thanks for being so responsive! When I copy the RSS feed link from ACast to use in my own podcast app, the Get Anime'd episodes no longer appear. They do appear here and on ACast, so I have access, and they used to show up fine on the feed before the new years update. Loving the updates, overall! Great work, and happy new year.

Hey Matt! Sorry if I missed it, but is there any reason why I’m not getting any new Get Played eps in the Retro Bundle feed? I get them up through the Oct 29 We Play You Play episode with Shaun Diston, but the Get Anime’d eps are up to date. Thanks!!

I have no trouble linking to the rss feed on apple podcasts but I’m not getting any of the new Get Played episodes. Newest one if the We Play You Play with Shaun Diston. Anyone else having this problem? Is there anything I can do to remedy the situation? I’m subscribed at the $8 level. Any help is appreciated!

I am also having the same problem as a couple above. I'm on the highest tier and am not getting Get Played episodes. I've tried the RSS from Patreon and Acast. I'm currently subscribed to both and they are identical. The most recent Get Played I see is E228 with Shaun Diston

I realize this is likely not your fault, but I figured you might like to know that the Acast RSS straight up doesn't work for me in any of the recommended Android podcast apps (it didn't work in my normal app Dog Catcher so I just spent an hour troubleshooting, then installing Podkicker, Pocket Casts, and Podcast Addict - none of them worked either). :( Gonna be sad to let this one go.

Hey I know you guys get busy and you do those shows where you live, watch and anime and comment on it, but to do that on both shows there's just nothing to really listen to. Most of episodes are dead air. And then you got one on GetAnimate and then kingsclave on get played. I don't know what I'm paying for. I'll stay at patreon cuz I need to support you guys but that's a little crappy I think

The acast link doesn’t take me to a place to get an rss feed. It just takes me to a Home Screen where the options are to start a podcast or import my own podcast. How do I get the rss feed on iOS?

Hello! Have been apart of the get animed and get played retro tier since January and have had no problem on patreon with the Get Animed content but all of the sudden the back catalog is locked? Is it just me or is there a broader problem currently?

After spending way too much time troubleshooting anything else it could've been, I've got a free flaming-hot tip for anybody struggling with the acast link: if you're logged in and seeing some episodes marked as Locked, but you should have access to everything, double-check which tier you're actually subscribed to 🫠 I would've sworn I'd already upgraded, who knows, but getting subscribed on the correct tier sure does help to access to the content you want! 😁

Hey, how do I get access to the old eps of get played?? I signed up thinking I was getting those but only seem to have access to the get animed feed. I don't really like many anime so am only really interested in the old eps of get played.

I know this comment isn't RSS feed related but I don't know who else to ask. I love get anime'd, but since the beginning of October I have not been able to access any of the episodes. I do have the membership, and I have talked to people at Patreon who told me to reach out to you. I've sent a private message, but I understand that because of how busy everyone is it probably got lost. So now I'm reaching out here, because Get Anime'd is one of my favorite podcasts, but if I can't access it then I'll have to get rid of my membership all together.

its unfortunate that the acast rss feed downloads so slowly - currently sitting at ~250kb/s vs 5mb/s I used to get when only subscribing to the first tier without get anime'd.

Can the paid feed be added to the Spotify app? I don't see a link for "Listen on Spotify" like I see for my other Patreon memberships.

I've been listening to the podcast through YT Music and the feed stopped updating with new episodes as of 2 weeks ago. Anybody else having a problem all of a sudden?
