Frieren is great and I'd love to hear your takes! One Piece is obviously impossible but maybe you could tackle the live action? It was pretty fun and as a One Piece fan I found it true to the spirit of the story. I am pretty sure Heather would hate this idea but I'd love for the show to tackle a romantic comedy. I'd recommend My Love Story, Toradora, Yamada's First Time, Tomo-chan is a Girl or The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Really Really Really Really Love You.

Sllew

Ping Pong the Animation is my recommendation. It's incredible and ticks all of the boxes. Very highly rated, only 11 episodes, not sci fi

Joshua Laguna

First anime that came to mind that they could try next is Mob Psycho 100. It’s honestly one of my favorites and I always try to recommend it to anyone who gets interested into the medium!

Brad Pearson

Would love to see y’all cover Saiki K or Mashle: Magic and Muscles. Both are extremely light and funny.

Geoff Kriz

Cover Solo Leveling next. I like when you guys are excited

David Mucci

Maybe for One Piece you could do the Arlong Park arc. It’s about 14 episodes, so that would be a decent sized “season” for y’all. [Edit: Episodes 31-44]

MK

I want to recommend Tower of God for the next show to cover. It's only 13 episodes, looks gorgeous, has a cool score, fun action and a really unique setting.

SchniedelWutz

In some older interpretations for Astro Boy Epsilon is a female coded robot. How does effect how you think about they relationship to the kids? Anyway I want team 4 star to male pluto abridged with a MJ Epsilon. Hihi

parenthesesONE

Let's do spy family. Not dark, just fun

Sid Tovar

Do a romance anime. Do Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai

BensDecoy

I don’t have a suggestion for the next anime but I was thinking a great guest for a future one-off episode would be Sungwon Cho AKA ProZD. He has a great voice acting career including Hannibal Lector bot Brau 1589 from Pluto. I believe he works in the greater LA area so maybe an easy get for the Headgum studio?

corndog

i think you should do segments of long anime series like One Piece because otherwise you're omitting a lot of good choices. i also recommend Gurren Lagann and Gintama

Hendo

GunBuster!

Scotty Beverages

I would love to hear the crew talk about the Live Action One Piece. It got me into One Piece and actually start watching the anime.

Jacob Arthur

Absolutely loving the One Piece banter

Michael Pemulis

Other than anime talk, what I come to this podcast for, is to keep up on current pop culture. So, thank you, for all the Jay Leno, Bill Cosby and Michael Jackson information. I'm learning a lot. Love you, Get Anime'd crew.

Jake Hawker

Elfen Lied is my favourite anime of all time, it’s a classic and I think it’d be a really interesting watch

Jamie Hill

Do MSG 08th team next! It’s short and sweet. Somehow there hasn’t been a Mobile Suit show watched yet

Jamie Hill

91 days is also limited (12 episode) and great!

Mobile Suit Bagera

Steins;Gate please and thank you. I wished we lived in a world where a man could show care for a child without it drawing suspicions, as a male teacher it's always in the back of my mind. This isn't an accusation just venting about a thing that I felt during the listen. I also want no part in any "men's rights" nonsense. Love the show can wait to hear your thoughts on the last episode and the series overall.

Console Canon

Delicious in Dungeon is a) current b) easily accessible c) fantasy, and d) light-hearted. Also, very fun!

Cheddar_Goblin

Not an anime suggestion, but I loved the Robocop talk. I would love for Heather, Nick and Matt to cover Robocop: Rogue city on Get played. It’s far from perfect but it’s also much better than I expected it to be and has a pretty hilarious “headshot” mechanic.

okamiki

I started just listening to you guys talk about it. But I cut myself off at episode 3 and caught myself up so I could really listen along and boy was I not disappointed! Excited to see what y’all will watch next. As someone who’s both read and watched all of One Piece, suggestion to Nick is to watch the first arc. It’s roughly 40 episodes and it’s just how the main crew forms together. You’ll know then if you’re ready to keep going or no. Matt, keep up the great work. Heather, f cancer. Possible suggestions: Soul Eater, Solo Leveling, or I think you would all have a lot of fun with Food Wars!

clearplastichuman

oh wow epsilon is getting a lot of attention this episode i wonder wh-- oh

Donny Stoney

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is the godfather of anime. It's been number one on my anime list for 10 years for a reason.. just recently dropped to number 3

Donny Stoney

I've seen Mob psycho 100 commented here. You guys would love it. It's made by "One" the same person who did one punch man

Will K.

I can't remember who has seen what but tossing out the three "Shin" movies as a break between longer series!

Patrick M.

I think Delicious in Dungeon would be a really fun anime to cover!

Kevin Ela

For something none of you have seen, I think Ranking of Kings is a great choice. Deaf main character, beloved show. Reminds me of GoT. Would also be super happy with Frieren, the most special show currently coming out.

Kevin Ela

Solo Leveling is cool if you are 12 probably

DebrafromHR

I really like Pluto after watching Atom and This and reading a few manga's set in this world I really like how human the robots are depicted and how they deal with common emotions we take for granted even the dark ones Nick I am so excited for you to watch Solo Leveling, it was one of the first Korean series i started reading and open a gate way into korean based manga or manhwa. Please check out Eleceed and Breaker wich are terrific action manga

alex humphrey

I'm sure I've seen it recommended before, but I would love them to cover Dorohedoro

john Smith

Delicious in dungeon IS being published in america by YEN press. there are only two volumes left to come out in the states. The joke has been that the manga artists finished the comic so she could play baldurs gate 3. Also my suggestions for shows to watch are Delicious in dungeon Tengan Toppo Gurren Lagan Revolutionary Girl Utena

Shaun Anderson

Would love for you guys to cover Samurai Champloo or Hi Score Girl

James Willis

Maybe an unpopular opinion but it would be awesome for you to cover Outlaw Star. It’s what got me into anime back in England and I had to wake up at 2am to watch it!

Dean Smiros

I'm a big one piece fan and I think you guys could do a once a month one piece arc episode? Or just contain to through arlong park (~45 eps) at 3/4 eps a week (~18 min episodes when skipping intro/recap/outro) the main problem for me is I want to hear Matt love pappagu and heather hate him (this is a minor character that doesn't appear for ~300 eps)

Shane Phillips

Two anime in the top 50 on My Anime List that I love and don't remember any of you talking about are Haikyuu and Gurren Lagan. It may be too soon to do another sports or sci-fi show, but those two (especially Haikyuu) are hard not to love. I also endorse the Dorohedoro recommendation.

The Mountain That Abides

The cool thing about Attack on Titan is that it has easily divided seasons. You don't have to do the entire show at once. It could be a season at a time with breaks to go through other shows. Might take a few years, but hell, the show took a whole-ass decade to do 4 seasons, so you would really just be capturing the experience of those of us who were there from day 1.

Shevil McBevil

Here are some highbrow as hell suggests from Scotland: KEMONOZUME (Yuasa being unique) SONNY BOY (short + impenetrable) HEAVENLY DELUSION (mysterious + stunning) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

DebrafromHR

You guys...you've got to watch Shangri-La Frontier...as gamers and Anime watchers it will be perfect

GoonScape

I’ve read all of Solo Leveling and if the anime stays true to the manga Heather is going to love every goddamn frame.

Dustin Siegel

Delicious In Dungeon Next!!!!!!!!

OldKentuckyShark

Quick note on Mont Blanc from an ex-literature teacher. During the Romantic period (18th & 19th centuries), a central focus was conjuring "The Sublime" (cue "Santeria" reference), which was a mix of awe and terror caused by overwhelming encounters with Nature. One of the major touchstones was Mont Blanc, in the Alps, and writers would use these awe-inspiring experiences in nature in order to contemplate their place in the world. It's a fitting reference since so much of this anime seems to be about facing impossible questions about what it means to be human and our place in the universe.

If you’re still looking for suggestions on future shows to cover I highly recommend the first arc of Hunter X Hunter (2011), episode 1-25. I believe it’s required viewing for anyone who is getting into anime. The tone is definitely lighter than your last few shows and I think you’ll all really enjoy it!
