[ART] Outpost in the Mists (Patreon)

I started a sketch of this a few days ago when Vancouver was in the middle of a week-long fog advisory. From dusk 'till dawn, the city was completely shrouded in fog--it was really neat!

Though I hate what they represent, the handful of cranes in the neighborhood were especially picturesque at night when their spotlights and signage pierced through the mist. I was dealing with a bitta art block mid-reference sheet drawing for my new OC, so I took a break and started doodling this, which I eventually liked enough to clean it up and make it a finished thing.
