Happy New Year! (Patreon)

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! By golly, it's 2024. We made it another year. 

Last year was actually really... refreshing. My nightmare year of 2022 ended and with it came a year of just... working on stuff. I made a lot less art than I'd have liked but everything I did, I was really happy with ! I think the crisis artists collectively faced last year re: Twitter and AI art has helped me sorta sort where I belong in the world and what I want to do moving forward. Which is mostly just what I've been doing for the past year. I like doing fanart for you guys. Not for Twitter, not for numbers. I like doing it because it makes the people who support me happy in return. The bunny suit polls were so fun. I'm gonna think of a different theme for this year once we're done. I want to do more of that, more of my characters, more of the projects that interest me. I am done playing the social media game because the game is broken, now.

To those of you who have been here for the long run and still are, and to those of you who are somewhat new, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I try not to be super saccharine about it cuz I don't know. It's weird. You guys pay my rent. I don't have to worry about that shit because you collectively value what I do enough. I can't put into words how lucky that makes me. All I do is draw but y'all are the ones that make it possible to, like, actually make it. Thank you. It's quite literally my reason to live and it means the world to me that you're all willing to support it and me.

Here's to another year of Ascari, my OCs in general, bunny girls, cyberpunk art, and all the fun other stuff that comes.
