I’m intrigued by the possibilities as to how he’s gonna be changed

Clownlover321

Uh-oh, looks like Baron Byland is in for it now, I wonder what's going to happen next. :3 ❤️ ^w^

Stan Verox

Ey, I don’t blame the book. It gave him a life of opulence, a big company, and loads of bimbos for his pleasure, and he goes and throws it in the ocean.

BEAM CLASH, BEAM CLASH!

RedeemerofDark

Damn. That sucks. Byland barely started the road to repentance and he's already falling over a foot stuck out in front of him. He just can't catch a break. He IS a guy though so it'll take longer to change him. Maybe juuuuuust maybe he can resist and punch the book in it's stupid cover. Or maybe the newest bimbo will jump into the pretty light? That'd be hilarious I'm NGL. Also if the book gets it's way what would he even be called by that point? Baroness Bilane? (Get it? Bi-lane? Like two but also BIsexual? I think it's clever)

RedeemerofDark

If I was brainwashed for...what was it again...TEN YEARS?! I would've done a lot worse honestly. The book should be happy he didn't strike a match on the spot.

With all consideration of this happening just as Byland was attempting to shake Bernice out of her trance again, this does give out the wondering question on what will Bibi’s reaction might even be from just seeing the free falling magic book on just touching even a hair on her Byland with a blast like that. But oh well, same time next week for an answer to that kind of question.

RedeemerofDark

Wait a second where the fuck did it even come through? Is that basic rectangle meant to be a window or a door?

GrimFellow

I mean, he was a CEO way before finding that book, so it’s not like it did gifted him everything he could ever dream of

RHüz

Oh no! (Huzzah!)

Sonicrailin

If Bernice can fight off the effects after hearing Byland's words, she needs to find something long, heavy, and sharp--like a cargo hook--and swat that pest out of the air, ripping it's cover and pages loose with each stroke! That'll make it quiet down!

GrimFellow

With the kind of clacking that her new heels may make with every step she takes, i doubt that she can even make it all without the book noticing any movements, or just even noticing her being missing from the scene at all

Sonicrailin

Fair points, but the book is also so caught up in its anger that it's focusing everything on Byland. And that lack of self control often deafens one's awareness, and leaves one wide open to be blindsided. And we shouldn't forget that they're on a dock being "manned" and operated by Bimbos! Making it a perfect setup for some good old out of left field "accidents" to happen. Like say . . . a hot bimbo working a cargo crane accidently bumping the controls with her curves and causing the hook to swing wild and broadside the book from out of nowhere! I mean, we gotta remember that this is comic is meant to be "comical" as much as dramatic, so a surprising twist of karma like that would play in real nicely.

GrimFellow

That is true, because as you said, this comic is as comical as much as it is dramatic, like it mixes the two together, but then again, isn’t this whole sequence of Bernice into Bibi, and now Byland into Barby/Byby happening during sunrise or something like that? Though, that’s just my guess with the constant use of yellow in the background of the panels, although despite what i said earlier, i do think something less Desu Ex, would be something like Bibi trying to breast tackle it like she did with Byland, in which of a way, it properly sends the thing down into the ocean, and by all rights, it would then be faced with twice of the amount of suffocation, one from drowning into the very island’s sea, and the other being from Bibi’s recently newfound assets, and just by any case, that would sound to serve as a good old case of fuck around and find out, for how ironic it be for the book to be outdone by a bimbo that it just recently created. But if anything, i guess that’s just my food for thought on that one.

GrimFellow

If anything, one could argue that the beam came from it’s mouth, or if it’s energy emits from it’s rectangular body to fire when it wants to, which given that it zapped some more of it’s magic onto Bibi to change her mind for good on it’s own accord, something like that doesn’t seem to far off

RedeemerofDark

I'm...I'm talking about the second panel. Not the features of the book -_-

GrimFellow

Oh, then my apologies for the little misunderstanding
