I have a discussion to chat with you about to day about future concepts. The idea is a side comic going along side Gacha Gotcha, the name is still TBD but "Tales from the Dark House" Is a play on Tales from the Darkside cause the idea of the comic it to be like tales from the krypt and darkside, with a Elvira style host that tells tales of sinister and spooky types of TFs. The idea came to mind not only from the Halloween season but because of the much enjoyed interest of "Bad Ending" type storys and this concept is a perfect setting to do so as each story would be self contained. However there are some other effects to this idea also. That would mean I would be running two series along side one another So Im considering retiring the Test Dummy of the Month event to than be replaced with this new series, But that also opens up room for a new kind of supporter participation. My idea is that supporters in the new updated tier "Still the $10 tier for those wondering just changed for the new comic" will be able to suggest themed for the next tale. also be able to vote for what next from a selection of themes of my choosing. I will also open up the ability for those in the tier to make cameos with their OCs to bring that concept back I think this style of comic will be a great place for that type of character participation .Now I've already put down quite a bit for you all to thinking about and read but this is still super early in development, but I think it has potential so leave a comment and we can talk about it. Ask any questions you might have also. Thank you so much and I look forward to future fun!

I agree, definitely sounds like an interesting idea. ^^

Sam Mann

I like the sound of it

What a wunderful idea Kobi, and I can already see stories of silly mindless Clowns and Ghouls TF in your future TEHEE (The narrator being a clairvoyant sharing a tale throught her mystic orb would be nice too!)

Geo

I dig the idea

Supplanter97

I like it! Plenty of different ways to take it and theme it~

Toni-Technaclaw

I love the Idea. Brightshore Bed Ending Lets go!

Skullgoblin

That sounds really fun. Lots of potential to be had there.

FinalFan

dark endings are always neat. I'd like to see a bad ending of your first comic, you could even have multiple different ones too and I'd love to see them.

Rubyinabox

Personally I'm not interested in "Bad End" stories. But i do know they are others kinks and niches. So i support it!

ender44hero

I like idea, there is lot spooky fun in it!

Josey

Really like the idea. Might have to join the $10 tier now ;)

I think this idea is great but would work best in a mini comic format. Telling the kind of story that leads to a Bad End is hard in a single page, Especially with the framing device you want. Not unless you put a lot of text outside the page. A short story told over three or so pages would be great to work with, and could even have a CYOA style to it where we vote on the bad choices the character makes that leads to their bad end. Here’s an example. First month the vote decides the setting and main character. Then after that there’s a vote for what gets them into a bad end and they start to transform. Then in month three the final form and fate is decided.

John Smith

I really do like the idea, though some things to consider rather than doing the bad/ dark end mini comic every month stretch it out over every other month with you releasing a full page every couple weeks and in between them the previews and wips that you do with your main series.

John Smith

Furthermore I know that the Halloween season inspire this idea however I think you should take a couple months to do the initial polls for some of the mini comics and would not plan to release the first until January at the earliest this way you would have some extra time to work on the mini comics and maybe have a couple stockpiled and ready to be released gradually so that way you're not killing yourself working on your main series and this. Also by taking some more time initially to do polls and work on getting few mini comics ready to go initially you may not have to get rid of the test dummy of the month series

Ian baker

are we talking bad ending like everyone dies a gory death or like the bad guy gets a smug victory?

Anaxus

This whole thing sounds like a great idea in my personal opinion and could be a great replacement. Some things to consider is that they will need to be on the short side or scheduled in a way so you'll have ample time to do it, while also being able to do everything else. So technically as some may have said, a short comic or something to that effect. Also, so this gonna be people suggesting ideas which then gonna be put up for voting and whichever is choosen will be it and then will go from there?

FairyTail

This sounds pretty good. I really like the idea of a cameo. If you did two series, I'd definitely support it.

RedeemerofDark

I agree with John Smith. It'd be nice to finish off the "Test Dummy" series properly if your going to retire it because this is sudden and it's already SO close to being done! It deserves to end with a great and grand flourish! Maybe a final pic with all of the changed people or a mini comic of Kobi checking off a list and deciding that "this is enough"? That would make it feel respectful and like your not throwing the series away just for the sake of replacing it you know? Cause a lot of people enjoyed the test dummy series including myself, so it deserves to be treated like it mattered and not like it's just so "easily replaced". Does that make sense? Regardless of how much I like this new idea (which is a lot) I just don't want it to feel like your tossing the Test Dummy series aside all willy nilly.

SalsaGuy

One thing I’ll also say though, is rest in piece to Test Dummy of the Month, you almost made it through all of 2025

(R)Owen(a) Hero

Definitely conclude test dummy properly if you're going to conclude it. And this definitely sounds like a better project than test dummies, to me at least.

SalsaGuy

They’ve mentioned before that they’ll still finish out the last few test dummies that this year has to offer
