Come on Bernice! You already know the answer! You had your suspicions! Take a chance and stop this! If you don't it's all over! Surely someone on the force won't just stand there and take this?! (Also gyatt damn that ass. I feel like we've never gotten such a good view of ass growth before so this is just off the CHARTS here! Also it'd be really funny if Bernice got the book just to become taken over and the new user, it's strongest enemy it's now most loyal user. That'd be wild. Or maybe she'll trust no one else with and become cursed to keep it away from everyone else? Like a more noble Gollum? That could be interesting.)

Don't think girl, just tackle the little turkey, bury his skull in those big soft love pillows he likes so much so he can't see, hear, or say another word, then wrestle that dang book out of his grasp and fling it off the pier and into the water before it can cause any more mischief through Byland. Then after a little instinctive making out to render him "incapacitated", find something to fish the blasted thing back out, toss it in the nearest oil drum and BBQ it! Though in my personal OP, I would suggest one more "little" change to Bernice before reducing that thing to ash . . . give her a few more inches in height so she can really rock lover boy's world with her bounty! ;-3

Actually, come to think of it, with that expression on Byland, if you want a more comical twist, he can geek-out completely over Bernice's new body and just toss the book in the drink himself as he dives right at her! Heheheheh, the booking "WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEEEEELLL" as it falls in the water while Byland loses himself in Bernice's bounty.
