Hello all,

First off: network not dead. Promise. I&E's successor is locked and loaded to go in January, as is the next BNS.

Because of the scattershot ability for some of us to record in December, rather than launch a new show and immediately risk missing episodes, we're going to take the month off (and thus why we have paused billing for December) and accumulate a few bits of backlog. Plus, speaking as our sole editor, it'll be nice for me to be able to chew through backlog without the deadline of "oh fuck but I have to do them in this order or we miss releases". Sometimes I just don't want to work on the more complex edits of some shows.

LST is going to remain on schedule through December, but we'll be taking the usual short break in posting post-season after Wizardry IV clears up. The whole LST pipeline is a bit backed up, I'm aware, but we've already got an entire short season in the can and we're hard at work on recording season 14 right now.

2026 should be an interesting year for the network, because while we do have the current shows, I'm thinking that there may be some free feed BNS experiments again (it kind of sucks to not be able to promote an ongoing show in any way to non-patrons!), and I've got a few "pilot" ideas in the tank. Might be with the network, in which case you'll hear about them on our shows, or might not, in which case maybe the plugs section will be fun from yours truly. This is the first time any of my co-hosts are hearing about this too, so who knows? Might just result in a lot of yelling at me!

Finally, while I'm promising nothing, I intend to get at least one bonus pod out on this feed over the holidays. I have no idea what it's going to be. It'll probably be very dumb. I get it. I work a day job too and interrupting the content firehose does make for weird work days without your usual shows. I'm one of you, too, at the end of the day.

Happy holidays from all of us at Pitch Drop, care of...

Sibyl
