hey guys, really liked your talk about episode 8, and i agree with most sentiments except regarding the force abilities... i explain a little more in detail on my youtube channel, same as my screen name i'll send a link to the specific episode if you like, but the takeaway from that part is that i'm a big fan of all the books, and after watching episode 7 I mentally partitioned the new trilogy as "fan fiction" and to me the cannon will always be the novels.. specifically the "New Jedi Order" series; 21 novels detailing the galactic war against the invading Yuzhon Vong (sp?) and follows the developing jedi career of the solo kids (all 3) and Ben Skywalker.. plus Luke becomes the Grand Master of the order and continues to wreck fools across the galaxy.. such a better arc, but as to the force powers, the force ghost ability leads me to believe that the ability to manifest elsewhere while still alive is just difficult. it's in the books, by Luke himself in latter years... I'll be upgrading when I want a shoutout for my channel, when it's a little more refined and has an audience in the glassblowing community... Thanks for the show guys!
