Re: Blizzard. Their bylaws say "Engaging in any act that, in Blizzard’s sole discretion, brings you into public disrepute, offends a portion or group of the public, or otherwise damages Blizzard image will result in removal from Grandmasters and reduction of the player’s prize total to $0 USD, in addition to other remedies which may be provided for under the Handbook and Blizzard’s Website Terms." Which is a bunch of legalese to cover their asses so that they can dole out punishment if they don't like what you said. Not that you can't use it as a platform specifically. Also he said "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our age." There's follow up on it now. Blizz said they'll reinstate his earning and reduce his ban to 6 months and the casters are only suspended 6 months instead of fired. It's all bullshit to me. Especially when two of Blizzard's core values are supposedly "Every voice matters" and "Think globally." And I say "to cover their asses if they don't like what you say" because of the line "offends a portion or group of the public." That could be pretty much anything. You'll find someone, somewhere, who was offended by something.
