Great reaction! Can't wait to watch more with ya'll! I just want to clarify one thing: Once the war started with the Legion 9 years ago there has been constant jamming. The legion block ALL communications so The Republic of San Magnolia have no idea what is going on with any other country or if any survived.

The reason why there is more people in that field is coz some were killed off screen. It’s the same as well too in the LN, for example Diaya’s death was offscreen in the LN, whereas in the anime you see it happen. Obviously to flesh out his character more, but I like that they just kill them off. Shows the situation they’re in and that anything can happen. This first cour pretty much adapts all of volume 1, which was meant to be a standalone series. Obviously it got popular, and now we have 11 volumes; 9 that are English translated. And bias as it is, I do like that 86 focuses more on the story and characters rather than action, as it’s probably where it stands out more thanks to Asato’s writing. Also to note, Shin’s the only one that can hear the voices because of his… ‘ability’. It’s only when others are synched to him on the Para-Raid do they also hear the voices.

God I love this show,I've never been huge on dialog heavy series, but for some reason it just works here.

I think the heavy focus on characters and plot just makes the action scenes hit 10x harder. Such a good show
