Fries

i think i like this new format

Rez

this is cool and different

Jupiter

Nice! I was wondering when the SU reactions were gonna come

Chace Toney

I don't know if it's just me but the videos on the new site are kinda laggy. Again maybe it's just me

Kay M

This is awesome I love this new format! Thanks for all the amazing content you guys are the best. Guess I'll have to join Diamond tier tomorrow 🤣

HappyHank

Is anyone else having trouble with the reaction videos? I'm hoping it's just my connection, but I was watching one of the Silver Steven's and it had a lot of buffering and audio lag issues.

I haven't had any issues personally! Their site has been better on not lagging or getting fuzzy for me than patreon/streamables.

Kay M
>>111883611

I'm not having any issues with the videos and I tried both the discord link and the link on this post so it might be your internet

Sorta Stupid

that's gotta be streamable which is the video hosting service we've always used. But we'll keep an eye on this to make sure we don't need to upgrade the server for the website.

I am SO excited for tomorrow's Diamond drop! Steven Universe really goes all out in season 5. As for Future, I believe it wasn't made by the same crew? But that Rebecca Sugar did still produce it. Apparently the main show got canceled, ended. And then later Rebecca pitched the movie and they greenlit it as well as future, bc they thought the movie would be a good way to promote the spin off series! This is what gives me hope about TOH having a future spin off.

Jessi
>>111884497

Same people, actually! For SU and Future. The whole drama behind it was that Rebecca Sugar insisted on a specific plot-point in S5 and it was against Cartoon Networks current policy so they said that if they aired it...then SU was done. She was like, "k." and then the fans asked for more. So she got to finish her story under different names. ;)

High Voltage

This is where Lars gets his flowers. He really becomes a fan favourite around here.

Calvin Allen

Dang, Hman. Sorry I'm not Golden enough for you

ZER0

Love this new style. Less email spam and easier to find what I am interested in.

Jam

welp looks like its time to upgrade my membership!

Yeah true. Hey btw, You can turn off the email notification in the Patreon settings.

Eric

to explain the debacle around how the show ended: originally season 5 and was not going to be the end of the show, but because CN feared public backlash from gay representation in the season, they told the crew they would not renew steven universe. the crew petitioned them for more content and the network gave them 6 extra episodes and a movie to finish the series. and then, AFTER ALL THAT, came to the crew and asked them if they wanted to do another season, which then became steven universe future, which is considered an epilogue to the story

Honey
>>111884497

I know why they cancelled it after season 5! I just always saw that the crew for Future was different. Minus Rebecca and the VA's ofc. But that could've been misinfo from a few years ago?

Bruna G

Steven Universe Future is an epilogue, and it’s kinda *spoiler* “Steven deals with his ptsd, the show”

Kemi Stanton
>>111883611

I've actually always had trouble with this, usually I have to turn off wifi and rely on 5g to watch without buffering, otherwise it's unwatchable :c

Kemi Stanton
>>111883611

I CANNOT WAIT for tomorrow, the beginning of season 5 of SU pops off so hard. For all the issues people have with S5 I personally don't agree with most of them, I only get sad wondering what we could have had if cartoon network wasn't on that homophobia juice

Mustafa__0321

This being my first time watching steven universe it kind of hurts having to wait till tomorrow for the next few episodes🤣🤣🤣 makes sense though

LOZZIEHOODIE

Wait, I'm gold, should I update to silver today or tomottow?

LOZZIEHOODIE

I meant diamond, not silver sorry

Jam
>>111902242

ah, well I upgraded to Diamond today and immediately got the benefits even though payment doesn't come out until tomorrow, so I'd say its up to you.

CyberPsyc
>>111888448

well, me personally, I want to get a notification about new uploads. But I just want a single notification, not like 5-6 of them, for every video

Sincerely, the Best.
>>111900840

You should wait till tomorrow so when you pay for diamond itll charge you the rest of the charge for the submission alongside what you already payed for with gold subscription. You pay today you'll have to pay another $25 tomorrow

Abby
>>111902242

Ah, that probably wasn't a good idea... it charged you today because you just signed up, and it will charge you again tomorrow because it's the first day of the month. No matter what day you sign up, it will always still charge you again on the first day of every month (unless the creator purposefully set it to not do that, which Sorta Stupid didn't). Just something to keep in mind for next time.

Petrichor

Sounds like you guys should watch Netflix's Carmen Sandiego!

Duck
>>111895841

...I don't think that's a "mild" spoiler, I think that's a pretty major spoiler.

Bruna G
>>111895841

I mean, I thought it was pretty inespecific, but sure, I’ll edit

RJLegend

This actually puts it in a better perspective of the difference in tier levels. I'm now debating on diamond.

miracle

Can you guys react to this new netflix movie, it's called "nimona".

Doktor

I just subbed to diamond 2 minutes ago but it said the purchase was made June 30th is there any way I could get a refund?

DrawingFyreFox

Just curious, Will movie reactions every be released to lower teirs. I mean even if it was like afew months after Gold Tier gets them. it just kinda sucks that there are awesome reactions that some of us won't get to see even when we're on patreon.

Sorta Stupid
>>111935059

No Gold is for movies and gold is the only reason we’re able to do as many movies as we do. We don’t have any plans on releasing movies under the good membership

Sorta Stupid
>>111920698

Send us a message and I can look into it once I’m in the office. The mobile app has very limited options for creators unfortunately so I’ll need to be at my pc to do anything

DrawingFyreFox
>>111935059

That's ok. Thanks for replying. I Guess I got confused because in the "How to use Patreon" video Seeohknee said Gold tier members got "Early Access" to uncut movies. I'm now guessing he meant compared to getting them on youtube. Or it was just a mistake in the video. Have a good day.😄

RedFlagDiver

Oh, Netflix's Carmen Sandiego cartoon would be a good fit for this channel!

lillabelle

Read through the comments and glad I'm not the only with lagging issues oof. I ended up getting the patreon app because of lag and now that it's off the app, the lag is back noooo 😭

Lashonta Majeed

Can someone please teach me how to watch the videos I’m a silver tier Billy and when I press the link I can see the videos but there’s like no triangle that I can press on to actually start and watch the video 😅

Jasmine King

I watch on mobile. I lowered quality to 360 (which was fine for me) and it took out lag completely.

Demi
>>111977297

nope it's just verifying that you have access, it will pop up a page that is saying they are requesting access to your patreon membership info and it links it up, similar to how it would work linking up with discord for example.

Lashonta Majeed
>>111977297

Thank you for your help it worked I’m able to watch the videos but I messaged them about the incident so no need to reply once again thank you 😊

Dotty Davis

Steven Universe Future happened so Rebecca Sugar, the creator, could wrap up any loose ends, like an epilogue of sorts

Marco Panzironi

Aquamarines aren’t above sapphires in the gem hierarchy: they are very high class, since they belong to the one that is the highest in the hierarchy except for nobility. Sapphires are nobles and must be referred to by gems below nobility as “your clarity”, while Aquamarines don’t have that right
