Hey everyone, we'll do a Q&A on Friday so fire away with the Qs here or in Discord. Vamos!

PL clubs seem to be collecting young forwards like Pokémon cards I.e. Haaland, Alvarez, Diaz, Nunez. Barça just spent €45 M on a 33-yr-old striker. What does this say about their strategy and prospects for the medium term?

Ed

Since the beginning of the Bartomeu presidency (2014) to current day, has Barca ever sold any first team player in which they have made a profit besides the obvious answer of Neymar?

Debissa Nuressa

Does the order in which the signings have been completed reflect their priority? As in did the club feel a winger was most necessary, hence why Raphinha was brought in first (excluding the free transfers)? Personally, I would have liked to have seen Kounde signed before anyone else since we really need defensive reinforcements. Thanks for taking the time to answer questions; love the podcast!

With the seemingly recent craze of day by day transfer updates, when was the last time a Barca transfer caught you by surprise? Is it impossible now to keep transfers secret? Also do you guys know of any Spanish speaking Barca podcasts? I’m a Spanish teacher in the UK so as well as more Barca content for me, it would be great to use it as a resource. Great job with the pod, I find it particularly interesting when Toni is searching for a word in English as I find myself testing my knowledge to see if I’d translate it the same as you guys!

This Lewandowski deal gets worse by the day. Is it true he is n a 4 year deal rather than 3? I keep hearing people saying he will do a good job for a couple of years but we will be paying him for 4! (including when he is 38). I hope I am wrong but this could be one of Barca's worst signings / deals ever up there with Griezmann.

Chris Milligan

What's happening with Gavi's new contract? Its all gone quiet over the last few weeks. Is it that Barca cant sign him to a long term contract until he turns 18 and this is the reason the deal is taking so long.

Jakob

Amazing questions so far, cudos to all! We rarely hear you guys talk about your dream transfers. So if you could sign any player right now for fullback, center back, midfield and attack - which would that be?

Jens Dybvik

Three questions from me today :-) 1. Can you see Pena as a possible nr 1 GK for Barca in the future? I really like what I’ve seen of him. 2. Still a possibility that Grimaldo could be our new leftback? Could’nt he has the potential to be our new first choice left back? Or at least be a rotation player for many years. Seems to me as a much better choice than much older Marcos Alonso. And another option for the leftback, Sergio Gomez? He looks really promising to me, based on the little I’ve seen of him. 3. And finally, Pau Torres, left footed CB, could he be a possibility? Maybe cheaper than Kounde?

Jens Dybvik

And a question number 4:-) Marc Casado, how good is he, and how do you rate his future potential?
